Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

Mitch

-Not putting in Motherboard standoffs, basically shorting the motherboard against the case.

I have done that before, forced the gpu in before realizing something was wrong. Luckily nothing broke and everything was fine :)

That's some nextlevel stuff right there ;-)

When I tried to overclocked for the first time, I atlet looked up som tutorials. Which ended up meaning nothing, because I can't seem to overclocked it anyway!

I know, I should have as well.

Another thing I was trying to remember was that I only had 3gb of ram for my 64 bit windows 7.

Man, I was so oblivious back then

Home is where the heart my desktop is.

The cable management.

PSU is non-modular.

nothing besides maybe the ridiculous amount of money i spend on it.

and if i HAVE to be embarrassed about something, then its my MSI 7970lightning that gives a gray (yes grey) screen whenever i see a youtube video... only way to solve it is to also connect a DVI cable... then it will flicker a few times when seeing youtube.. but keeps working.

weird... which makes it kinda unique.. and therefor awesome :D

I have no signature

The most embarrassing, it's a pre built with custom parts that I added to it over the years. It's pretty damn good, but I wish I knew things that I do now so I could buy the parts. But come DDR4 I'm swapping any working parts and building my own.

I'm not sure if I'm embarrassed by or proud of my ghetto ssd mount. It's just resting on my optical drive at the moment.

Cable management, I had to push really hard on the side panel to make it.

I'll fix it.... eventually...

VGA, 10 year old monitor, tiny wirless dynex laptop mouse, No working USB flash drives over 1 GB. Oh yeah, and cable management, considering I bought a semi-modular.

My SSD is just balanced on top of my PSU cables (Its mounted vertically), before that, it was secured to my CPU backplate using masking tape

Also I have a super ghetto LED strip taped to the back my monitors; which is powered by jamming the cables into a molex connector, and passing them through a fan vent. Looks great though!

My keyboard is pretty embarrassing too:

Also I'm using VGA...

(In my defense, it is used to connect a TV which refuses to work over HDMI)
