Your best typing speeds?

My HighSchool WPM was around 70, I got a 313 CPM (63 WPM) right now. Only problem I have with these tests is its random words and I type best when I can predict the next work like a real sentence. As well, this was on a membrane keyboard (Logitech G510) I know I type faster on mechanical keyboards but I do not one one, yet...

Actually, I can only type around 80 WPM as of recent.

Also, @PotatOS - Andrew, this topic has been posted about a bajillion times :/

I usually get around 50 or so at my best and around 30 at my worst. Sometimes I can type well (by my own standards, I type like shit), and other times I'd have better luck writing a proper sentence by dragging my face across the keyboard.

The problem with these sorts of things and me is that it's a synthetic benchmark. I run much more slowly on typing speed tests rather than in the real world. I'm not being funny here, this is actually a thing with me. You have to catch me ranting about something on the forum here to actually see me typing the hell out of my keyboard. I'm sure I crack a hundred sometimes, for very short, 5-10 second intervals, but that's when I'm really passionate or angry about something and I need to get it typed down as fast as possible. I can only type quickly when my brain isn't focused on typing quickly. If it is, like in a test, then I tank.

120-150. I usually test on a school computer because that is the best thing to do with your time in class because you'r never going to use the other stuff you learn in a real life situation.

And all those people saying you only type with 3 fingers isn't an excuse, I use 3 fingers on my left hand and 2 on my right.

High 50s-low 60s. I'm a shit typer, matches my speaking skills. Taught myself how to type, and it has caught up to me.

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

Your score: 315 CPM (that is 63 WPM)

Your score beats or equals 85.67% of all.

Congratulations! You typed all 57 words correctly!

I advise you to take a 2 minute break now.

... I failed hard... got distracted a few times by the numbers that were showing up at the top for the "Most recent score".
Also, I only type using my index fingers on both hands on a G11 logitech keyboard (not mechanical)
