Oh, don't get me wrong, it's definitely funny. I chuckled at it a bit. It's just that this isn't really something I want to see from a company. I don't want to see petty little jabs from them, I'd rather see them put their time into something more constructive.

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

What I hate is that Nvidia doesn't NOT have 4GB, there's a bug or something that's causing issues.

 

They didn't say '4GB!' and only ship it with 3.

Well they kinda did, they said 4GB and it's really 3.5+0.5GB.

Correct it has 4GB's but the partition for 0.5GB's is slower than the main 3.5GB's. The card still performs the same as when @Slick did the benchmarks on it.

I thought It was a smart move untill i saw the reference cooler!!

I thought this cooler design had a thermal throttling problem, so you could counter with just about any other card and say "1.whatever GHz means 1.whatever GHz". >.>  (Although I think the throttling issue got fixed with a driver update that moved the fan curve up.(?))

 

As for the 295x2's 8GB of RAM... get used to it, even Nvidia does that.

 

Is it too much to ask to have just one honorable GPU company at this point in time? >.>
