intel or amd

Hello, I'm going to build my first PC, what processor do you recommend and what brand Intel or AMD? (with a budget of $1100 total on the computer)
I am going to use this computer for games like GTA V (and the next GTA VI), Fortnite, Ark, COD, Minecraft among others.
Also for video and photo editing programs. Also to be able to transmit. I don't know if in the future I will use something heavier.

Intel would be better for video and photo editing, but in your case i would still go with AMD, specifically the 7500f/7600, because those are great gaming CPUs, consume less power, and have an upgrade path in the future, unlike intel

If you choose Intel, you should know that many motherboard manufacturers have a bios setting that could give too much power to the cpu, more than Intel's safe specifications. That setting is also usually enabled by default. It could harm the cpu.

 

So if you pick an Intel cpu, go to bios and disable that setting. It will then feed power to the cpu within Intel's safe specs. Here's a youtube vid about it.
