How fast is your boot time?

SeeingSharp

No, and that sounds like a incredibly dumb idea.

It is. never do it,

My rig is in my signature and it is an FX 8350 and a OCZ Vertex 3 factory refurbished ssd because it is just as good and it was cheap. I get about 450 mb/s read and writes. It boots from pushing the button on my r4 to log on screen in about 10 to 12 seconds.

I've managed to reduce post time 25s and the windows boot is still at 30s. totalling at 55s, I think now I need to speed up windows.

Edit 1: 28s on windows. It first loads all the drivers, then goes dark for ~15s, and then login screen appears.

Never really counted by probably around 10 seconds. SSD's are worth every dollar and will never go back to a mechanical drive after using one.

I don't have any SSD's but these are my PC's

My laptop with an Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 and a WD Scorpio Black 750GB takes about 30 seconds to load up and the desktop with an Intel Core i3-2120 and a WD Cavair Blue 500GB takes about 25 seconds.

Fast enough for me, I'm happy with those boot times :)

9 - 12 seconds for a full boot. 3570k and Samsung 840 120gb.

Me: Yeah I just really can't get my H220 working again, I've tried everything that was suggested in the forum.

Brian (Swiftech Support): Hmm, have you tried slapping it?
