It began as 'The Tincan' (Because it was just a CM Elite 120 Advanced) then as it's potential grew, my friends were talking about why Steve Jobs would call a PC after his Daughter 'The LISA' etc etc...

Shortly after my PC got christened with it's EVGA SC 760 (Following a similar Aesthetic with the Chassis) my friend simply named it 'Bender'

And then it was so.

But really, I don't name any inanimate objects, I don't feel any urge to do so. I know a lot of people name their cars, but it just confuses me as to why people do name them.

I am super boring when it comes to naming a pc. I tend to name my pc after the case I have. Originally my pc was simply Corsair, since my last rig was built inside 800D. When I upgraded to my current setup, I changed the name slightly. Now it's CorsairBeast. Mainly because of the components inside and to avoid networking problems (my old rig was still in use when I built my current rig, so I needed to avoid using the same name inside my network).

 

I ended up using the Corsair logo as my user picture (in Windows). :blush:

I only call my computer as either a computer or ''a black box''. It's case is just an unnamed, cheap, black box (not to be confused with a Flight Data Recorder)
