RATE THE PC SPECS ABOVE YOU :)

thetechdude

The first one is great, but needs a future high-end Nvidia Pascal graffix card for it to truly come into its own. Also could use a storage HDD for backups. I'm guessing you don't install a huge amount of game/music/video media on your main PC, so the 756 GB of SSD storage is enough for you.

Your 2nd PC is interesting in having a dual-core CPU combined with a decent gaming graffix card, and lots of storage. I'm guessing you don't game much on it, though high-performance keyboard and mouse gaming on that big TV screen would be pretty cool.

My system:

Mobo: Asus P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1

CPU: i5 2500k @ 4.5 Ghz

Cooling: CoolerMaster 212 EVO

RAM: 16 GB Patriot Viper Xtreme @ 1866 Mhz

Graffix: Gigabyte R9 280x OC

Storage: Samsung 850 evo 250 GB SSD, Caviar Black 1 TB, Caviar Green 2 TB

Soundcard: Auzentech X-Fi Prelude

Speakers: Creative Labs Cambridge SoundWorks FPS1000

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64

PSu: OCZ ZX Series 1250W

Case: Antex 400-something... don't know where the side covers are, so it's just open air. The case fans don't work, but they don't need to, as it's open air.

Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 2693HM

Mouse: Logitech G402

I loved my old 2500K, so that's nice, but your case sounds kind of ghetto haha. I'd give it an 8 for performance and a 6 for functionality.

I finally upgraded my RAM and got rid of all four extra computers, minus a few parts. It successfully offset my GPU. Any extra stuff unmentioned should be in my sig. :D

My Parts:

240 Air, Z87I-Deluxe, 4770K, H100i, G1 GTX 980TI, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400MHz (2x8GB), 2x 840 EVO (250GB), 2x WD Red Pro (4TB), 2x WD Red (3TB), Dell U3415W, 3x Dell U2414H, G710+, G700s. AND I JUST GOT GORGEOUS NEW SLEEVED CABLES. <3

I never thought I'd see the day, but my trusty XFX 850W Silver+ power supply isn't cutting it anymore. I recently added a second Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 to my system, and the PSU just can't cope. I've always quoted my 5820K's 4.5 GHz overclock at 1.3V as consuming "about 200W", but I may have underestimated that by 100W.

Anyways, my computer.

CPU: Intel Core i7 5820K @4.5 GHz

GPU: Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 (x2)
RAM: 16 GB DDR4-2133

Mobo: Gigabyte X99-UD3

PSU: Cooler Master V1200 (soon - going to get it now!)

Pretty much smashes anything you would want to so with it and could probs run almost any AAA game on high at 1440p with those dual 290s. Not sure about 4k though but as long as its not a AAA game it should be fine :D

Mine's in my sig.

I wound up being quite disappointed with CrossFire, so I traded up and kept my old power supply!

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K @4.5 GHz

GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming GeForce GTX 980 Ti

RAM: 16 GB DDR4-2133

Mobo: Gigabyte X99-UD3

PSU: XFX PRO850W XXX Edition

This 980 Ti has blown my mind!! It seems to have had some comfortable overclocking headroom as well. I cannot believe that this much is currently possible on a single GPU.

My G1 will hit 1600/2100 clocks. Give yours a shot, the OC headroom is insane with this 980TI.

Nice, but your over clocking with a H series motherboard (not that bad) but I'd of chose a cheap Z97 one. People are gonna disagree but really a stable motherboard is a stable system- especially when OC'ing. But I can't really talk- my system is the most unbalanced, ridiculous bodged pc in the world... At least I can say I have a longer GPU than your's. Infact it was so big I had to tear the case when I inserted it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

My cpu wont even do 4.2 :( (on the preset setting anyway) and my mobo has  8 Power Phase Design.

I'd give your system a 8/10. Simple but effective. Not a huge fan of the peripherals or the monitor, but those are just down to personal taste anyway.
