Others might not agree but overall I would have to give you a 9. You've got an excellent setup, great value to performance ratio. Only things not to my liking are the case and the Kingston V300 (didn't they suffer from NAND issues??). Don't get me wrong, the case looks awesome but it's expensive and I've never been a fan of plain fronts. How many drive bays are you actually using?!

Just so you can have a laugh, I built my current PC in 2011. It's had a few upgrades over the years but I present the following:

  • AMD X4 640 3.0 GHz
  • Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H
  • 8GB Corsair XMS3 1600MHz
  • AMD Radeon HD7700 FLEX
  • Gigabyte GZ-MK01
  • Crucial M4 120GB x 2
  • Gigabyte 550P
  • Hyper 212 EVO
  • Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit

I would give you 2 out of 10. You said you built it in 2011. Intel's i7 2600k was released in Q1 2011. That CPU is legend for overclocking with air or water even today after 4 years. So you could have bought that or previous core i series family CPU back then and be happy till today :)

information about my Dream PC specs is in my profile so here it is real one  :)

i7 3770 4.3 GHZ

Thermaltake Contac 29

ASUS P8Z77-V LX

Corsair Vengeance 2 X 4 GB 2133 MHZ LP

FSP Raider 550 W Silver 88%

Gigabyte HD 7970 WF3 OC

HDD 500 GB

DVD RW

Cooler master Elite 430 W/ led coolers

  • Operating System
Linux (native) + Windows 8.1 in VM Qemu + KVM + VGA passthrough

Computer users fall into two groups:
those that do backups
those that have never had a hard drive fail.

Good call! I think it was simply price which pulled me into AMD.

A 2 is fair enough but my rig certainly isn't a slouch. I should think an upgrade is due early next year.

I'll let the next person along have your specs.

I'd give it a solid 8/10.

The HD 7970 is a pretty damn good card, but may need replacing in about 2 years or so.  SSDs are the way to go so yah!  Also, I'm a little biased towards team green so there.

PC specs:

I5 4690K

Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX970

Asus Z87-Pro

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

8GB stick of Generic Kingston RAM

NZXT Phantom 410

Antec HCG-520M

Logitech MX Master

Ducky Shine Zero Cherry MX Blue

Logitech G930

Dual LG27MP55 - I definitely need to upgrade this

7/10 liking that sexy 2500k, nice volts too.

Lovely motherboard, good 700 series GPU, solid PSU, loads of storage, slightly let down by the chassis but no big deal.
