  1. Need to find an online retailer for it then, not sold locally where I am at. Sabrent Rocket or Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus? Not the Q or Q4 versions also, right?
  2. Anyone has any recommendation for a 2 TB SSD for the Sony Playstation 5? Looking for a "fire-and-forget" kind of SSD, that I don't have to modify or tweak. Looking for a pathway from my current PS4 using a 2 TB HDD.
  3. I think today was the only chance I can ever get into the Top 10. All the best everyone!
  4. Seems to be working after uninstalling all the Realtek and Studio Sonic stuff. Will continue to monitor. Thanks!
  5. Not sure if this is related to my problem or not, but is it normal for CPU-Z to report the following for an RX 5700 at Idle or even viewing YouTube? Core Clocks: < 10 MHz Shaders Clocks: ~ 300 MHz Memory: ~ 200 MHz
  6. Or maybe stretching could be the wrong choice of words. I'm not sure what is the correct term for it but it is like when you watch a video using VLC and put the playback speed at 0.5x. That's what I experience.
  7. It happened some time after a driver update to 21.5.2 I tried rolling back to 21.4.1 and it does not seem to help. Prior to all these, the previous versions that I updated to, inclusive of 21.4.1 and up to 21.5.1 seemed to be okay.
  8. Hi All, I am experiencing some weird things from my GPU lately. Firstly, the audio seems degraded, like there is additional sound artifacts like beeps when playing back any form of audio. Secondly, if I am playing back YouTube videos for example, the video appears to be stretched out, like a 1 second duration of the video is stretched out across 2 seconds in the real world. I have tried to DDU to reinstall drivers for it but it does not seem to work, The only thing that seems to alleviate the problem is that I ramp up the fans to at least 80% fan speed but the s
  9. Hi All, I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good replacement AIO printer or point me in the direction of a good review site for such printers? I've been using this printer for a good 7 years and now when I print, I keep hearing gears like grinding or something. I'm looking for an AIO with a good scanner and also auto duplex function for printing double sided. Many thanks!
  10. Hi all, Not sure if anyone has a similar issue to me but my whole entire AMD StoreMI folder has been deleted after installing AMD Adrenalin 21.4.1 with Factory Reset. I cannot install another copy of StoreMI as it says that it is unable to support my SATA Source HDD and SATA Cache SSD. Previously I have connected my SATA SSD to the my SATA HDD and it is seen as a SCSI drive in Device Manager. So now I do not know what is the current state of my drives and whether I can uninstall it. Anyone know how to recover from this, short of reinstalling windows?
  11. Hi All, I was going through the Datasheet for the Seagate Exos X16 drives and I notice there was a footnote for the logical sector portion. It mentioned that I could switch from 512e to 4Kn using the FastFormat routine. I was wondering if anyone has any experience on this and can share with me how is it like? Thanks!
  12. Hi All, Just wondering if I can mix HDD of different phyiscal sectors (e.g. 512 native, 512 emulated, 4K native, etc...) in a NAS? Currently looking at Synology SHR technology as a basis for combining the storage and using some of my older unused HDD as part of the storage. And I happen to see some cheaper Seagate Exos online but they are using 512e, so I wasn't sure if I could mix them or not.
  13. So basically, if I manage to get a 2x 8 Pin version 1200W should be okay. If I manage to get a 3x 8 Pin version, I will need to go to at least a 1500W model.
  14. Hi All, Just wanted to check if anyone has more numbers I can look at for the PSU Requirements for Dual GeForce RTX 3090s. I am currently looking at 1200W model based on the numbers I got from OuterVision Power Supply Calculator, which was around 1050W. The estimated specs of the system are: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X X570 Motherboard 64 GB RAM 1 TB NVME SSD 6 TB HDD Dual GeForce RTX 3090s If anyone needs more info or can point me to a good resource, let me know.
  15. Never tried hypervisors before. Is it something like another kind of OS?
