@Jacob_1999 Not sure if this is what you found, but I did my own light googling and it looks like this is exactly what RTX VSR does. I'll have to test it out after I'm done playing with robots tonight.

That's an interesting thought. I'm using a couple of APC Back-UPS Pro models, I hadn't thought to look into if they could send a wake signal via the USB connection.

So just wanna reconfirm, we don't have to manually ask for participation badge, it will be automatically applied/distributed to all eligible participant by the end of the event, right?
 

And we can manually request point badge (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc) on this forum regardless of the ongoing Folding event?

Shuck be dern... I think today is a very good folding day. I hit 30 million points and 100WUs since I found out about F@H (and it is not officially 30 million for the team and that much for this event alone )

 

Another milestone was hit where I got a magical 3.2MPPD today! All this despite this being the heaviest development day by far (I have multiple IDE windows open, Firefox tabs up the wazoo, debuggers running constantly, and some video or music running consistently as well).

Yep! Just excited to get over that 20 day mark so if something happens to my system I’m still good to get the newbie tag lol

F@H can be installed as a service, an option during install, but it cannot do any GPU folding unless there is an active account logged in. Basically the services is totally useless unless you are doing CPU only folding. just setup auto login and F@H autorun.

I wish i could afford to step it up just a little more but im already broke and the electric from the cards im running is already a lot for me to absorb. Im close to grabbing my power cables and adding my 1080 to my main system with the 3080 in it especially since my 1080 is a blower card
