so basically i am that "unless youre archivist" part.

That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why you suggest everyone to do the same.

The suprising thing is that I didn't bother changing the colour of the Tesla logo. LTT is definitly orange, and Tesla is definitly red, but put them side-by-side and you don't see much of a difference

Techlinked lost subs already. They went from 1.83M to 1.82M.
Same with TechQuickie, went from 4.22M to 4.21M.
While the main LTT channel is just gone. Poof.

There is any official statement from ltt crew?

Honestly, their attention should be, and is, focused on preserving their data and going through all their servers and PCs to make sure nothing is on them, and to deal with YouTube. Once the attack is over and they are sure they have no malware, and their accounts are locked down should a statement come out

It's like 3-4am in Canada I think lmao

It is as I write this 5:25 am in the PST (Pacific Standard time). Yeah Corridor Digital was hit last year and quite a few other channels I follow with a decent following have been hacked within the last year as well

Technology is both a gift and a curse. do not let the old ways die as you never know when they may be the only way to perform a taks.

Most likely either socially engineered. With a large staff, that happens all the time even if they put in place tons of safeguards. Otherwise... insider threat...?

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
