Age when you got your first PC

I was like 8 or 9 playing with my pc after my dad got a dell Pentium d with vista (it still runs like that), and I had a p4 with 256mb ram and windows xp. Anyways, I took the mother board out of the case and was messing around with a pci card without a shield, and burned out some thing on the motherboard. My brother had just got a new gaming rig (well in his mind) so he got rid of his old amd athlon xp. I'll type the specs I remember.

HP Pavilion something (keep in mind this was bought in 2004)

P4 @2.6GHZ

256mb ddr ram

onboard graphics

250w psu

cd-rw drive

80GB Seagate Baracuda IDE

My bros HP Pavilion

AMD Athlon XP 2500+

512MB ddr ram

6600gt AGP

350w PSU

cd-rw drive

dvd-rom drive

80GB Seagate Baracuda IDE

At that time I was happy for the upgrade, for now which is shit hardware.

A couple of years ago I built my first "real" PC

It had a

Core 2 Quad Q6600

3GB DDR2 RAM

Antec 500w Earthwatts

Integrated Graphics

Intel DG41TY

Edit: Here were the AMD computer specs http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c00191366

I was like 6 and I used to take shit apart and so it started. I basically built a computer, but did not know what the parts did. Most gaming was on console, because my parents were (still are) old fashioned (my mom called the Playstation 2 a hellmachine :P). But then I got really interested in the matter, but because of insufficient funding was not able to build one and had to use cheapo prebuilts from the local supermarket and play old and indie games like Battlefield 1942 and Thomas was alone. Last year I finally got enough money and built a beast machine for me.

I was a pretty casual user until i was 12, then i wanted to know more then the average person, my justification was that i could put that on my cv, at the time i didnt think i would like it but i did, around that time i brought minecraft and then i wanted to build my own pc, oddly the first pc i built wasnt for me, it was for my aunty which went flawlessly, it went down hill from there on.

Started playing games? About 5 or 6.

Started with PCs? About 13. That's when I started looking into how to build a PC and I discovered Linus' videos shortly after, I didn't make an account on the forums for a while though.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
