Set mine back to a 1440MHz maximum clock and changed the preferences back to "Any." I'll leave all the GPUs on F@H for a couple more weeks until I get to 20 Billion (Hopefully before you overtake me) then move the slower ones back to World Community Grid & Einstein. Hopefully WCG is not as broken as it was 30 days ago.

everything is turning off save for Calculon and Bender Leela needs her PSU replaced apparently the 2 Seasonic FOCUS Plus 650 Gold SSR-650-FX that i bought at the same time have the same defect...where the fan will start clicking...Seasonic replaced the last 650 with a 750 as they didn't have 650s in stock...will see what they do with this one...(Not considering it dead and its just annoying and if i turn the fan so its not always on it never comes on YAY Case airflow...yes I'm a heathen I flip the PSU so it pulls from in the case not from the bottom...)

I was going to turn more of mine down after the event but we have a cold spell... so rather than run heat might as well help the cause for a while longer!

Speaking of cold spells, it was cold enough today that when I got in to my car to go grocery shopping (and fogged my windows immediately as usual) I came back to the INSIDE of my rear window completely frosted over.

This was definitely a well timed event as far as heating needs go.  I've managed to reduce my oil usage significantly by using electricity via folding that has (partially) come from my solar panels.  Since both electric and oil are stupid pricing right now in the world...I call it a temporary wash.  I hope to be able to do a bit more with it through the winter as well, but for now...the "finish" button hath been smashed.  Once I get some wire and UPS management set back up, etc...then I'll get going again I'm sure. 🙂

Good event!  🙂

I still want the reported number of how many of the participants managed to fold for every day of the event though, @GOTSpectrum.  Perhaps in the final blog post?

Actually, as I'm 2 hours short of having 24 hours stats for the above - I guess F@H may very well be reporting that. 😕

I think its due to all those WUs that were missed yesterday during one of the updates so they're inflating the result.

Oh and oh no:

Does the 4xxx series have a problem with ram temps?  I have to underclock my 3080 to keep the vram from cooking.  Oh and 30m ppd is freaking insane

I heard some bad news about the game. if you got the time do let me know if the game was as bad as the reviewers claim it to be.

Also @GOTSpectrumwhen we will get an update on the sheets and the raffle rewards?

it got review bombed at the start massively because of stuttering issues. this was fixed within 24 hours and reviews are starting to get more positive.

the marketing does not lend it any favors though. this game is like dead space 2, it is ACTION horror, not SURVIVAL horror, yet the publisher markets it as the latter and survival horror fans will be disappointed.

personally i'm a big fan of dead space 2 so i'm definitely excited!

yeah the complaints I heard about were against the marketing of the game. But an action horror sounds like hella of fun! now I need to decide to go for the game on PS5 or PC
