japanese pornargraphic materials regulation and laws and stuffs. You need to wait for these to be licensed outside of japan in which these censorship laws wont apply then you can view the materials in all their glory. Generally, if the shows are air on televsion in regular hours, you can expect heavy censorship.

I think most are chinese anime, I guess it comes to netflix or funimation and bilibili.

Link Click, seems to have some good moments, a bit about life, visuals are not the best but can be good enough, graphics are decent too.

Spare Me, Great Lord! || Da Wang Rao Ming, not great progression or subs, but has some decent visuals and fights that one can follow. (seems to be worse quality in later ep)

now looking into bilibili, like how do they have such a big library? when certain other english platforms can be such a mess? is it just because of their market and size?

 

ranking of kings really fell from the first few episodes, might improve later, feel like its going downhill with it and the initial focus and momentum it had.

Anime is somewhat rushed. 

 

Normally anime take at most 2-3 chapters of the manga

[not a light novel reader myself]

 

but the studio crammed around 7-8 whole chapters in a single episode.

It even missing out on a whole lot of worldbuilding/character building {like the MC's family relations. which is a plot-point later}

 

They also removed some of the Jokes/plotpoints

Like Arma asking Mathias if he could enchant. with the blacksmith and Lurie saying that enchanters don't just walk into the door. with both being surprised at mathias saying he could enchant weapons.

 

Or him being summoned to the Principal's office having to retake the test, with everyone unsure if the anwsers are correct. {before the Principal even asked for his help}

Instead they removed it and just had the principal ask Mathias if he could fight in the battle against the first school

Or during the fight Arma and Lurie both attacked 2 of the 1st school members knocking them out. with mathias taking down the demon.

Which is also a plot-point.

as the principal of the first school does not want those 3 monsters {referring to Lurie, Arma and Mathias} from entering the revanche match

 

Instead of being a great anime, which many people thought it would become, this one might be a complete bust, just because the Studio tried to cram too much in the first episode. [the 2nd episode will tell if this prediction is accurate]

To be honest, even the manga is not that good IMO, so it's not surprising that the anime is not great (though it sucks that they are going through so many chapters for one episode... Reminds me of a few other series that did that and skipped so much that if you didn't read the source material, you'd be at a loss).

 

It's almost always the same thing in each arcs. Go somewhere, new "bad guy" (or just more demons) that says or does something that wronged others, he uses his overpowered knowledge from the past to blast through these events, everyone is still surprised, next arc, repeat.

He's one of the most boring MC I've seen in recent years. And he still hasn't even bothered telling his two female friend who he was, even after all this time they've spent together, going as far as hiding it and silencing those who know.

what anime isn't rushed or becomes a nothing burger. Maybe nice visuals or combat, but story has suffered with most.

Only thing I wish that "devil is a part-timer" doesn't become rushed and build on what made it fun. Also right now there is too many cloned shows, that show you are talking about seems like they might go a different direction and wanted some of that scene buildup at the end from something like what "Mushoku Tensei" did, I think? if so, it failed and maybe wanted those who "read the manga" would know the characters. The next episode should be somewhat different? or it's a full mess.

 

If only there was an OPM movie, that would be great.

and the only way to watch is umm *cough* funimation.

Too me its pretty ok, animation remind me of under the dog, not good but not horrible.

So far I have been looking forward to it.

I love the concept of girls frontline I hope the anime lives up.

Gate was nice, but some aspects was a bit too "lets have it because we are an anime"... Although would still like to see a (2nd or 3rd) season?
First season of "The Saga of Tanya the Evil" is pretty good (if one can get over the loli aspect which is "minor" to me for the series), as for second season and the movies? eeeh not as great and lacking some of the characters, but not that bad either.
