CaseLabs represent! And yeah, too many hurdles to overcome for that idea to gain traction in the firearms community, especially after shady NJ legislature regarding smart guns.

That works for spanish speakers, pretty sure most English speakers would understand that, but who knows

no.

Written English and spoken are very different animals.

 

it's acceptable to use those when speaking, in writing it doesn't really work.

if you're speaking they'd probably understand you mean yes, assuming you don't mean "aha" with a pronunciation similar to "ahoy" or something.

 

@BashZeStampeedo yeah I'd say this is pretty next level fedoraism. Everything I cited they dropped within 6 minutes, minus the 1:30 intro.

"Mhm" would probably work, and maybe "uh huh", but only in written conversations that are meant to sound casual. "Aha" is used mostly as an emphatic version of "I see" in written conversations.

I wouldn`t be too sure about it. Military weapons need to be reliable and adding some sort of authentication adds another point of failure.

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu - Initially I saw Josei and Studio Deen and nope'd away from it, but I watched the first episode and it was pretty engaging and funny. I was pleasantly surprised. Still likely not for everyone as it's somewhat focused around rakugo, but maybe give it a shot if you were on the fence. :)
