But there IS no best Anti Virus, they are all flawed. No anti virus will decet everything. So while some say it's a matter of preference, only to some extent.

I dont know how to vote i have ran 3 of the options in the last few days on other computers and use anything i feel like installing on my own computers at the time 

i have used avg, avair, avast, norton, mcafee, Kaspersky the last few years i just used free ones

People using "common sense" have no common sense, how could you possibly know if a website is infected? While its probably true that most virus comes from shady websites, there are still ways for people to attack you through, for example, common web plugins where the host of a website often has little or no control. It's always good practice to run at least something in order to add a second line of defense. A good idea would be to use for example MSE, which is free and barely uses any resources and its in most cases just sitting silently in the background.

well i keep forgetting that i have any form of virus protection on my computer but it seems i ran a virus scan last night with windows defender lol
