You Should really make a Guide to Show how Ram timming adjustment is made, step by step. If its possible to show it on a ryzen powered system will be great.

Warranty and location

How do major brand compare in service, if you are way out there . You can buy in major web store. But what happen if you need warranty service.

Location city in  :

Alaska  ( usa )

Yukon   (can )

Bangladesh

India

Australia

Linus as almost 9 million sub. I am sure some of them have exotic location

Just a  suggestion

Hello,

The GameSir GK300 seems to becoming a popular alternative to logitech's G613. But is it just as fast as the logitech lightspeed technology? Stay tuned to find out...

I think it would be a good consumer review, with a key point on measuring the latency.

Thanks,

Hi,

Some of the best videos on LTT have been about the servers have built and while the dream is to have something similar at home that is not possible for most of us. that said i like many other have a little server at home for VPN, backing up my other computers, videos etc.

A few years ago the machine of choice was the HP microsrver which i picked up for about 150 USD and has been running Ubuntu ever since and has done exactly what i needed of it. unfortunately now it is a bit old so i was wondering whether you might do a video investigating the current options i.e. a small form factor server with low power consumption that will hold a few drives that can still do a bit of lifting e.g. quicksync video transcoding.

Many thanks,

wraypa1

Hello,

I don't know if this is possible. But like the old years when it was possible to use a nvidia card just for "PhysX", I was wondering if it's possible to run a Nvidia card just for RTX!

Thanks!

Liquid Metal Thermal Paste as Water Cooling!!

I know it sounds super stupid but I would love to see the results, would it be like water cooling in steroids?

I won't mind seeing a Tesla powerwall video, similar to Paul's series.  I'm wondering how different the results would be somewhere with short winter days and snow.

Hello,

Long time lurker and fan of the whole LMG family. So I had an idea that has to do with custom RGB from aliexpress. There are vendors on aliexpress that will make custom rgb backplate, gpu brackets, window panels for tempered glass cases. I recently ordered a RGB backplate and RGB GPU bracket. Upon ordering the vendor messaged me and asked which design I would like. I went for a more generic Geforce logo. But here's where LTT comes in. I believe that LTT logo could be custom laser etched into a backplate, etc. I have not recieved my unit yet and will update, but a rgb build that has custom LTT logos would be cool. It could even be a giveaway opportunity. Custom RGB LTT build. Also exposure to those who don't know about custom RGB from aliexpress. I have attached my correspondence with aliexpress vendor to show the process to get custom rgb backplate.

A comparison between RED's new DSMC2 production module with dual XLR in compared to the off-hollywood, and your external recorder for audio would be cool.

How about a video discussing if the "Acute Angle Mini Triangle" actually has performance "as stable as triangle", as the marketing suggests?

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33011959107.html

Acute-Angle-Mini-Triangle-Computer-Host-

It actually looks kind of interesting as a computer, and at about 150$ US maybe it isn't even that expensive.

Please do some price to performance reviews to large NVME drives in 2 drive raids.  Running real world gaming loads.

I know that most people say that for a gaming laptop you don't need 4TB of NVME but since it's my only storage, and games are only getting larger...  I disagree.

I also intend to stuff 128 GB of ram into my Alienware M51.

I would just like LTT's take on some of the NVME's out there that aren't from Samsung.  Yes they are the top of the line,  but do you really notice that slight difference between them and something like the  Silicon Power 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen3x4 2280 TLC or the AddLink S70 maybe include some of the others from this article I found when looking for a price for performance for NVME drives.

I would love to see LTT's take on this topic.

You guys have the merch. Its time. Make a watercooled PC using nothing but LTT Merch. Use a water bottle as a res, shirt skin for front panel, underwear for the top or something. Fans, Cable Ties, YOU GOT THIS. I need this in my life. >:C

Windows Surface Go and affordable Window tablet alternatives for digital artist. I'm a painter/illustrator looking for a tablet alternative to use Photoshop on.

- Can you use .exe application on Windows tablets?

- Pens are a must.

- Writing and drawing quality.

Maybe you can get someone to draw on the tablets.

- Would like the final comparison to an Apple and Samsung pen tablet and cost.

Linus Tech Tips

So I think Linus could do an updated video demonstrating the advantages of dual channel over single channel specifically for gaming. Gamers nexus last video I saw is five years old and is already out of date (there were no advantages with regards to gaming then, but there without a doubt is now).

I've recently been having issues with frames on my rig with certain games and after some research found that over the last couple of years, ensuring you are using dual channel instead of single channel can SIGNIFICANTLY increase performance. I'm talking 40% gains in FPS, the video at the bottom of demonstrates this well... and there are a few other recent videos showing the same, but if you go to videos I'd say 3 years or older, you'll find that the gains are basically non existant.

Now I've had sooo many people tell me "single channel wont make much differance compared to dual in terms of gaming" now this might of been true as recent as a few years ago, I can say out of my own experiance now, it isn't, my average fps going from using 16gb corsair vengeance 2666mhz in single channel to 2x8gb hyperx predator 3000mhz has been one of the biggest upgrades to my FPS i've made. BF5 was my biggest improvement, going from an average of 100fps with dips to 40fps at 1080p, i now sit consistently over 140fps at all times. (like it should be my with my graphics card and processor) Same with shadow of the tomb raider, i'd average 60-90 with dips, now im easily over 110fps, same story with csgo (less stuttering), apex, tarkov, honestly its insane. (recently upgraded from a 1070 to a 2080 super and literally I've seen a bigger increase in FPS just by "upgrading" my RAM lol, still 16gb, just in dual rather than single).

Now I dont know of this if just something to do with how games have been optimized over recent years? Or the processors themselves? (I have a i7 6700, I'm assuming people using 8th gen or AMD might not see the same results) But thought this could be something you guys might want to possibly look into further and potentially get the word out for guys who were suffering like me, I assumed 16gb of decent ram in single channel would be fine to game at 144hz at 1080p, when it just wasnt, maybe I'm just dumb and should of realised this? I don't know I've been a techy and into gaming for 20 years and its ceterainly a new development for me, always thought and been told, duel/quad is only really going to benefit rendering/servers ect ect, gaming won't see much differance. Thanks. Let me know if you need any more info guys :)

Give us an actual in depth review of the Hydro X line. We want benchmarks and comparison to other blocks cpu/gpu. Currently there is little to no information on the performance of these items and that is probably one of the biggest pieces of info the enthusiast market needs.

So a YouTuber by the name of Ashens posted a video about building a pc with parts from Wish.com and I thought that was pretty interesting and I wanted to suggest it to the LMG staff to make a full video of the parts ordered and its final performance. MAKE A VIDEO ON IT YOU GUYS PUT CONCRETE INTO A WATER LOOP TO COOL A PC YOU'RE LITERALLY OBLIGATED TO MAKE A VIDEO ON THIS TOPIC

In a lot of your videos, you talk about how if you cool your system below ambient, you risk moisture forming on your components. I am a pretty big fan/collector of two very different things, weapon systems and watches, and one thing that both these groups have in common is the need to be both waterproof and fog proof. As I'm sure you know, this is typically accomplished with nitrogen purging. So here's my idea and question. Can you build a PC, make a waterproof case, nitrogen purge and seal the interior, and then use whatever extreme cooling method you want and not have to worry about moisture? Would love to see a video on this.

Hi guys,

I noticed, that Linus is up for the ultrawide gaming monitors and that he is currently using Asus PG35VQ, which costs around 2,500 USD. What about reviewing ASUS RoG STRIX XG438Q? It is 43" VA panel, with HDR 600 certification and it runs at 4K, 120Hz, rocking the price of 1,200 USD, which is half of the PG35VQ, so it could be the midlle ground from the standard gaming monitors around 800 USD and the very high end in PG35VQ.

Give it it a try!

the company just sticks their stickers on already available hardware and puts a massive markup on it, it's a scam, don't buy one.
