Based on your other thread about trying to game on 8 GPU's at once, what exactly are you wondering about with these extreme hardware questions?

A 128 core CPU today will be terrible to play games on if that's what you're getting at.

No.

One, you have a 6900xt, which isn't the fastest single gpu.

To be the fastest, you would need 4 Quadro rtx 8000.

And dual eypc 7003 64 cores.

With 4tb mem.

That's the fastest PC without stuff that's not out yet.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Is there a 128 core amd epyc cpu? or is it just 64 cores? If a 128 core amd epyc exists then can someone give me a link tothat?

As far as I'm aware the maximum core counts Epyc has right now is 64 cores, 128 threads.

You can get dual socket Epyc systems though which would give the machine access to 128 cores, 256 threads. That would also give you 16 memory channels between the two chips and a bit below 256 PCIE lanes (dual socket Epyc uses some of the lanes for chip to chip communication).

That setup can support 8 or more GPU's. But you need a bare metal virtualized environment to really make use of a setup like that.

Nope. At this time for single socket configurations in both the Rome & Milan line-ups the top of the line SKU's only go up to 64C/128T.

For what application do you need a 128C CPU?

He doesn't, check his other threads today. He's just been asking about absurd, impractical gaming and PC setup questions with no real goal then being confused and sometimes arguing when knowledgeable people give him answers.

Well you can go dual socket, so thats normally better.

THe tesla gpus are much better for server use.

You can use 1.5tb of ram of a 3990x.

Quit making up builds.

The best absolute gpu depends on your use case. Should be between a 3090 and some quadro. Look I know youre trying to get info but please stop spamming.
