Kinda looks like an Alfa Romeo from the side actually. I think the main problem people have with the car is that BMW makes it.

I actually like it. New body lines fit nicely to those grills/vents. I loved outgoing F series cars (all of them) but I always found M4 to be a little too basic looking, they finally made M cars bolder than their poverty spec brethren.

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

It's freaking hideous, the grills look like the 'nose' holes in a skull, the rear bumper has a weird sticky out bit and the rest of the styling is all a bit 'try hard'. They've also stuck the M4 nose on the M3 too, as well as giving the M3 awkward looking rear arch extensions. BMW have finally said they are going to do an M3 Touring, it should have been glorious, but they have royally fucked it up. 

 

It not even like on BMWs recent form it's guaranteed to be a great drive either.
