Galaxy Fold 2 Leaked

Summary

 Today, renders of the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2 have been leaked. They show many upgrades to the original Galaxy Fold.

  The changes include:

• Bigger external screen (6.23” vs 4.6”)
• Bigger internal screen (7.7” vs 7.3”)
• Replacing the corner camera with a hole punch camera 
• Triple cameras on the back

The expect changes to the internals include:

• Upgraded processor (Snapdragon 865 plus)
• 4,365mAh Battery
• 15 watt wireless charging

It will be officially announced on August 5th at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event.

The new renders show off a vastly improved design, with a hole-punch camera replacing the large corner notch for the internal camera and a new, full-size display on the outside of the phone (instead of the tiny screen on the original). Earlier rumors put those displays at 7.7 inches for the internal, foldable display and 6.23 inches for the outside panel (compared to 7.3-inch and 4.6-inch displays on the original). My thoughts

 I think these are the standard changes that come with a new generation of phones. While exciting, they are not surprising. I just hope it isn’t as messed up as the original fold was at launch.

Did you find one of the inside that was recent? Only ones I could find were a few months old and I’m assuming things have changed since then.

atleast the front screen is like an actual phone from 2020 now, the last ones design was horrible like it was from the old sony walkman era.

The more I look at this the more I like it. Hopefully next year they come out with a version that has an SPen, slightly wider, and larger batteries. They shouldn't be afraid to make them as wide as current phones are. It'll be interesting to see if they've done anything special with software, like a nice reading mode.

I think there's enough people that will buy it. It's a niche device, it's not meant to sell millions of units.

It's only 17mm thick. It's really not that big.
