What happens to the dozens of PC builds completed at LTT every year?

What happens to the dozens of PC builds completed at LTT every year? Are they dismantled and parts either re-used for future videos or sent back to sponsors/respective review-kit providers? Are they stored away? Do they get given or sold to LTT team members or friends & family as personal rigs?

Taken apart and the parts are stored in their warehouse until they are used again.
With some exceptions of course, like the mineral oil PC ran for quite some time, now the desk PC is being run by Linus, that one Thermaltake cube view system is being used by Jake.. etc.

I heard that Linus stores a large amount of the PC components in a giant bank vault and goes for a swim in them like Scrooge McDuck.

They rarely post anything up for sale if that's the answer you were looking for. Anything that isn't on loan is a business expense so LTT can't just immediately sell off gear online.

They either keep it in their inventory or sell it to the employees (they probably get a discount or something like that)

Either they keep it or dismantle it, an employee uses it as a rig, employees buy them, rarely sell them online, or giveaways.

I dont think they have enough storage space for those, so staff voluntary help to store those stuff?

I would assume the expensive sponsored stuff gets sent back.

They have a pretty big building now but even so, that is a lot to store. Like has already been said, a lot of it probably does gets sent back.

 

Also, I HIGHLY doubt staff stores anything. Most businesses would never ask or even accept an offer to store anything at an employee's place. Just imagine an employee is storing thousands of dollars worth of goods and suddenly they are asked to bring something in but it is missing? It's a good way to create internal conflict and tension.

Since it's LMG, all finished builds are simply dropped over and over until they turn into a mangled pile of broken plastic, PCB, and metal. This is substance then thrown in the furnace and used to heat the office.

From the videos of staff houses I assume stuff is frequently “borrowed” or hidden in a giant game of hide and seek for Linus.
