I don't now about noise, you can check this out: Don't try to be cheap, and do not buy an old used PSU.

Realistically when will we see RTX 3000 series stock?
MadAnt250 replied to Phat Beatsies's topic in Graphics Cards
Oh no! There is a shortage on silicone too! What will I use to fill in gaps and create gaskets with? In all seriousness, I expect things to kinda normalize somewhere in 2022, the silicon shortage is effecting the production of more important things. Also, I miss 2019. -
You might be more than hardware banned if that happened.

It can cause a number of issues, make sure everything is connected properly and is in the correct spots. Also, why pair an old i5-2400 with an RTX 2060?
-
Yes, maybe not at 240fps all the time.

Did try with one stick of RAM in the dark blue slot on the right. Also I cannot see it well, but check if those front panel connectors are on the correct pins. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkCentre-A-E-M-S-Series/ThinkCentre-M81-Front-panel-connector-pinout/m-p/2051513

Ok, that is not what I thought it was. I think you may have to check things one by one. With the GPU out and monitor plugged in to the motherboard, do you get a display
-
Ok, back to the beeps, can you count the long and short beeps?
-
Do you mean standoffs? If the board is bending it could contact the metal of the case.
-
it does not matter, check one at a time, then check two, then all three. The 2x4 + 8 configuration may be working iffy.
