  1. Forza Horizon 4, at 4K GTA V, at 4K
  2. I liked the content, but I was surprised to see that sponsor, Plarium must have made a BIG MONEY offer that could not be refused. There are reasons why people do not like Raid Shadow Legends and it is not just because there advertising is everywhere. This video should help inform of those reasons @LinusTech
  3. You could buy a used GTX 970, if you take your time you can grab one for a good price.
  4. Then don't buy them from newegg, maybe go to craigslist or ebay and find something used.
  5. Try to use the same modules if you can, but if everything seems to work ok with mismatch ram, then don't worry about it. Some packages will have a sticker that says "ryzen compatible", my guess based on rumors, is that 1st gen ryzen was a little picky with what ram module was compatible, if someone could confirm that or correct me, that would help.
  6. Perhaps you can find some help here. I recommend about 650 rated Watts and do not cheap out on the PSU.
  7. RTX 3050 Ti... Why? Just more reasons to discontinue the GTX line and make things more expensive? WTF NVIDIA! Something I mentioned elsewhere. 2013, GTX 780, MSRP $499 2014, GTX 980, MSRP $549 2016, GTX 1080, MSRP $599 2018, RTX 2080, MSRP $699 2020, RTX 3080, MSRP $699 If we take inflation of the US dollar in to account, $499 in 2013 = $557.42 in 2020. This would not be such a bad deal if there were still cheaper GTX cards, but we are stuck with the RTX options. Just my opinion based on some facts.
  8. Okay, time for an update. The whole upgrade has taken me almost a year, but I think the upgrades will never end, lol. With that in mind, I figured I should go over the total amount spent in USD. Parts and prices: (does not include taxes and shipping) January/ 2020/ From Micro Center: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X: $114.99 Gigabyte B450 Aorus M: $84.99 ($64.99 when bundled with processor) GEIL Evo Potenza (16GB 2x8) DDR4 at 3000Mhz: $49.99 Misc from January/ 2020: Corsair ML120 fans (2 pack): $30.99 July/ 200/ From New Egg: Noctua NH-U9S towe
  9. Could buy a used GPU with some more punch. Or that. If the old 760 does the job for now, waiting is good. Maybe better deals will come by in the future.
  10. What happens when you try to play games, does the system shut off? Or something else?
