I disagree. it worked just fine. and has done exactly what I figured it would.

That one guy with the walls of text seems to have real concern of our organisation (and coconuts, wat?). I think the excecution of the "leak" could have been a bit better/different, but now there's nothing we can do about it anymore.

It's all good. The point of the entire report outside of what will happen over, 10 months from now, was just to get activity up. We weren't sure if we would get an official RSI forum post yet, luckily ixi took care of that.

 

Though I think the issue was when people started posting on your post. If the replies would've been more support as opposed to negative, nothing really would've happened at all.

 

It's ok though. Since the game is so far out any negative light on a blacked out report won't last much longer than a few weeks. It'll be all blown over soon enough.

 

But, yeah. I already knew it wouldn't have any positive effect as an organization outside of potentially getting activity up. But that backfired, so that's what I consider the failure of it. Didn't generate the activity we needed. It was kind of a last ditch effort because on that day we dropped below the top 20 large organizations in activity. Don't mind, Jobo. It'll be blown over by Sunday.

If I have learned anything from EVE online it's the leaks you don't want that hurt you, not the leaks you plan :) while this may "look" bad, once a group gets past that and reads the doc, then the gears begin to turn, and the fun really begins.

the problem is that today is the dead limit for the competition :(

Yeah, I think my act of desperation to push the leak didn't pay off in many ways at all. BUT... Thanks to ixi's post we're at 5th in large groups now. So we can still take the lead if we push for it over the remainder of today.

ive been confused all week about this pamphlet.

 

Its a plan that we have to take the kingship it is secret but not secret because it was leaked, it was leaked to get activity up and things like that but could/didnt/might/won't backfire. There is a fully un redacted version that is pretty sweet and the guys did a great job on it so it will show that we can organise things even if @Jobobee leakes it all :P haha

Try click on the menu goodie on the bottom right hand, you should be able to select UOLTT. could also set the auto join channels in your settings I think.

Going back to the leak, I love the really long righteous post on the RSI site.

it has done good, it got our activaty up. which was part of the point, it got the doc out, which was another part of the point, and hopefully soon people will start talking about it

it might have been better to leak it and then not talk about it, let people discover it. or to have come out and said look people this is the shit we are working on, we arent showing you all the details but we are here!

Not sure if anyone is still waiting to buy in to SC but just figured I would inform people if they didnt know that they went below 5500 alpha slots left today. Dog fighting should start next month and i am betting by then there wont be spots left. So if you want to buy in I would do it now or you might miss out.
