I got this off of the latest wingman's hanger. I am now going to post it every time I am excited for something, or think something is awesome in SC. How the heck do I post this on the on the RSI forums? Seriously, I need help.

Guys, as of right now we're 7th in the most active "Large Organization" category--that's with only a small percentage of people being active on the RSI forums (in fact most of use started to post today) and our Org's RSI chat,

 

Now imagine if we doubled that activity, nay triple it. Imagine if 50% of our org members started being more active, our activity rank would skyrocket! We have the numbers, now let's use it to bump our activity up.

I paused to use the bathroom, and that is what I saw. I just laughed. The best part is at that point he moved his head around, and made different expressions, so I could find many more. Just go to around 14:00.

Meh, it's only because the game isn't actually out yet. Once it's out, activity will spike.

Yeah, but hopefully we can get Slick to represent the organization in an interview at PAX East. They take 2 organizations per size category.

In all honesty, I'm kind of annoyed with the idea of having an activity pissing contest resulting in the winning groups being able to interview CR.

 

Doesn't make sense at all, for all you know, the winning groups have no interviewing capability, have no crowd and no community to deliver the interview to.

The only saving grace may be that RSI themselves take the interviews and puts them on the site, but then why not just take questions from the community, which they already do? It's the exact same thing, the only difference is that for the contest, you see him in person, whoop-de-fucking-do.

 

Slick is at least a hot on the WAN show, is part of a duo that partake in a tonne of youtube videos that are watched by thousands, yet RSI may end up inviting two members from some random ragtag Organization to interview him, and the most they'll ask is probably stupid fan questions which we already have answers to...

 

Ugh, seriously, just seems like RSI is trying to drum up attention at this point, though, I do appreciate it more than them releasing more packages for people to waste money on, considering that you can get all these ships in-game, so buying them now just seems stupid and reminds me of the bad taste in my mouth that I get when I hear 'pay-to-win' and 'cash-shop'. Ugh....

We will get a huge boost in activity during the dogfighting, I mean I haven't really opened the hanger in a while it is cool but its really just looking at all the pretty and not much more.

 

This of course would be too late for the interview competition based on activity so get posting on the rsi forums (constructive stuff mind) and hop into chat!

It's all good. Just trying to get those people who are reluctant to type to say hello while also trying increasing our activity rank. Two birds with one stone, yeah?

 

I do get the feeling that we're doing this for the wrong reason... For an interview? Really? It should've always been for the group and its current and future members. If we get into that interview then great! If not then we've still accomplished a bunch: we bolstered our presence on the actual RSI forums and created a structured document proving that as a group we have the capacity to organize--heck we have some writers making a timeline as I type! We'll get our name out there in one way or another.

I think we should be pushing the chat as let's face it chatrooms are better for conversations and meet and greets than forums

We are pushing for an increase for the interview at the moment however before that it was just to get up to the top and to get more members and meet new people. The activity goal should be everchanging in order to keep people engaged. I know that sounds clinical but it is true.
