LTT Conglomerate main discussion thread

Like a mothership or something?

Yeah like say we go to war we have the giant ship where the commanders are, giving commands to different squadrons and stuff. I'm imagining the Galactica CIC form Battlestar Galactica That would be pretty cool. Could also serve as the base of operations for UOLTT or something. (why is it called uoltt anyway?)

PC Specs: Case: NZXT Phantom 530; Motherboard: Maximus VI Formula; CPU: Intel Haswell I5 4670k; CPU Cooler: Intel Stock (for now); RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 2x4GB 1600 MHz; GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7950 DD; HDD: WD 1TB Caviar Black; SSD: Samsung 840 EVO; PSU: Corsair AX 860; Monitor: Asus MX23H

I know we are ment to have a mothership but something like that will cause it to be attacked. But I'm hoping we have a home location or territory.

It use to be Unofficial Organisation of LTT but it became official and they had to rename it

But those things can have 100s of players right? So there should always be someone there to defend it. I suppose that would be fun as well.

Bout the name that makes total sense. I guess uoltt couldn't be changed on the rsi website then so it stayed.

When information, most likely closer to release, comes out that alludes to details surrounding what is required in game to acquire larger, more capital-like ships, then I think that will be a more fitting time to discuss how our fleet is going to work and be operated, along with what ships are amongst the fleet.

If it's achievable, I even might want my hands on an Idris, when the game comes out, if I could put it to good use, it'd be a welcome addition to the UOLLT Fleet.

Probably the best way to understand the operation would be to read the doc. We don't have that many hard details yet about the flagship so it's just some basic ideas and different groups being involved and there position in the capture

Did you manage to get Xabber working on your phone? Mine just refuses to connect, and I'm pretty sure my settings are correct...

Yeah I'm doing that now, I'm on page 30. So I read the post and if I am understanding correctly the "leak" thing was on purpose?

It was on purpose, but it didn't really work out quite as we hoped it would have been...

Sorry cant edit posts, I'm going to be bias and say I'd rather have a controller over flight sticks I dont think they are worth the money, it's more clutter free but the last stick I had was in the 90s.

Im going to use a 360 controller as it already has support and will be using pedals if they allow yaw.

I've already got the controller mapped out in my head.

It would be even better if we could get the Kingship with a few Bengal escorts

I prefer the Bengal to the kingship, I say it looks cooler. The problem with it is that we can't be seen with one by the UEE.
