Hmm... Lol, quite a miss-step there by me... LOL... Thought I heard Linus speak of this the other day... Must have missed the context, I didn't quite think it could be true xD.. Anyways I doubt 2k active members on here are actually gonna be playing star citizen and wanting to join this specific Org :P

The main problem is that the forum isn't that big compared to the whole community, and even on the forum not that many people know it exists.

OT: Congrats on being official! This is getting more and more exciting :D

On a side note, Star Citizen in about to hit $38 million and they announced that the most active organisations will get "a special treat"!

ill probably get the game when the final release comes out, i think the cheapest ship is like 30 bucks. will definitely join the team!

question: can you still play the game if your ship is destroyed? can you go on other players ships? would the linus tech tips group have a mother ship or some hanger to return to or something?

I will be trying to devote all the gains from subscribers on twitch to Star Citizen ships to give away for all my future live streams! so hopefully we can get more guys that way!

 

I will try to change from UOLTT to LTT at some point, but its not easy

when you buy a package containing a ship you get the game and a ship for the game, when the game is finally released you can buy ships with in-game credits. 

the reason to why the ships cost real money now is because you pledge money to the development of the game and make what they do possible :)

and you don't need a ship to play, but right now you can get alpha and beta access through some of the bundles. and you can join others ships, just make sure they have sleeping rooms for long trips :)

I saw this game months ago and though yeah I will get round to looking at that... so today I looked at it and HOLY FUDGE! if walking through my ship in the pre alpha... alpha alpha is this good I cant wait for the full game. Now I need an Oculus and to remodel my spare room into a fully immersive cockpit.

I can't choose in between different occupations. The ones I want to do are:

•Exploration

•Mercantile (trading or selling)

•Any others that may interest me in the future

Hopefully this will be taken into consideration.
