What kind of chair do you use for your gaming pc?

This is not purely tech related exactly, but it's close enough since it deals with a peripheral that makes being at the computer more comfortable.

 

What kind of chair do you use?

 

I have an old leather office chair now that I picked up off craigslist for 70 dollars (original retail like 270 at the time i.e. get your stuff off craigs list)

 

 

It was OK as far as comfort, but I never thought it was fantastic.  There were always times when I felt a bit uncomfortable.  Is it better to sit straight upright?  Slightly tilted back like an astronaut? But then what about desk arrangements?  mesh vs leather?

 

 

I want to try one of those ergonomic chairs, but they are insane expensive, I can't justify spending 800 dollars on a chair with 20 dollars in mesh material pretending it cost a thousand dollars to make.

 

 

But for those that have, is it really worth it?

I stand. Except when my feet hurt or I'm tired. Then I sit in an office chair my workplace got rid of (2 of them) and they gave them to me.

The ball bearings are greeeeeat. Very spinny and comfy.

You can get really good chairs from Staples for $70 on sale. Super comfortable, the adjustable height, tilt, and back are awesome.

Ever since I had a multiple way adjustable chair, I'll never go back.

A leather chair from staples, comfy as fuck, comparable to lazboy but the quality is not that good, also I have a gym ball when I feel like throwing it at my pc.
