Is that a FX 5950 ultra?

All those cards are so clean though, also guessing those Hercules cards are rare?

Yes a 5950 Utlra!

The Hercules cards are, PowerVR Kyro II, and the other ATI 8500LE.
Not so rare, loads have started popping up on ebay lately.

I miss Hercules, I really liked their box designed.

The ATI, FURY RAGE MAXX cards are far more rare; more so than most 3DFX Voodoo cards.

Part 2 edit on 1/7/18 because this topic seems popular.

I've got a couple other things not in the pictures, didn't want to drag them out of storage.

I believe that might be a celeron early model, because it doesn't look like a Pentium to me, or maybe its just the cooler that makes it look like a celeron, but dont take my word here.

ive been meaning to build a new rig for all my cards, but my god is it hard, to find boards that support AGP 3.3v, with Universal AGP.

I found the alpha and omega for Epox with Via KT333 chipset, but now I’m struggling to find a socket A cooler than can handle the Athlon XP 3000+.

Most out there still being sold top out at Athlon 2000 for compatibility and thermal dissipation.

I’m so close to a peak all rounder that’ll handle All my PCI and AGP cards. Including a very special Voodoo5 5800 special edition

I actually use this at lanparties, when people are still setting up that rigs I'm already playing Tetris :)
Plus its fun to mess with the crew asking them where the coax is so I can install my 10BASE5 tap/transceiver.

That's quite the machine! I'm betting it's got a dual scan (passive matrix) screen though so probably has a lot of ghosting in tetris :P Very cool!

I brought home a neat machine a couple nights ago, along with the original guts. Those of you who have Floatplane might recognize this machine... It's an old Micron Millennia MXE. Was a Pentium 166MMX, but someone kept that (Believe it was Colin) since it had a cool blue Micron cooler on it. I put in a 200MMX instead, a 4GB Quantum Fireball hard disk and a Sound Blaster AWE64 CT4500. Got the original motherboard and video card though... S3 Virge DX and brought the ram down to 64MB of EDO as a lot of the pentium chipsets had issues caching more than 64MB. You really don't need more than that in a Pentium 1 system anyway.

I even managed to score the original Micron keyboard... :D

I installed Windows 95C on it for the FAT32 support, as well as Office 97 Pro and Visual Studio 6 Enterprise and a few games like Anno 1602, Railroad Tycoon II, Age of Empires Gold and SimCity 2000 Special Edition. It's been a lot of fun to play with so far.

This machine is back how it should be, and all is right with the world lol. Now I just need to make a cover for the fan hole that was cut into the bottom...

From what I can see in the picture, there is plastic channel that is used in controller cabinets for routing wires on both sides of it. If I had to guess, I'd say it looks like a PLC or micro controller of some sort. It's mounted on DIN rail and I can see a circuit breaker behind it as well mounted on the same rail.

Correct, it's a Eaton / Delta PLC.

And to answer Brian's other questions, yes the ghosting is atrocious on that laptop when playing tetris.

This is my crown jewel! I had to play detective and deal with someone in a micro state to secure it.

Now THAT is a video card! Now we just need to see it in a build, preferably with benchmarks 😁

Pretty please? 🥺
