Can't wait for some game benchmarks of it.

I wanna see a Sapphire model, with improved power delivery, to see how far it can be pushed.

Honestly, with most people at 1080p, this card is clearly the winner. Sure the GTX 1070 can do 1440p, but it's over $100 more expensive than the 480, and the 480 still looks to be maxing out games in 1080p. I can't wait for benchmarks.

if it truly matches fury or 980 level of performance, 2 of those will kill the 1080.

Boring. I don't care about highly efficient low end cards. I don't even really care about VR. I just want something that is better than what I currently have that doesn't cost over £600.

The reference model may lack a backplate, but the cards released by AMD's partners (Sapphire, XFX etc) will probably have one.

Just as well. If AMD charged what nvidia do for that blower it would more than double the cost of the whole card. In the UK, anyway.

I'm surprised that the price is that low amd maybe it can compete with the 1080 in normal games. When could we see benchmarks.
