never said anything to that effect. I'm not attacking all gamers nor am I attacking anyone, but even today in gaming culture gender inequality is still present. But on the opposite side of that there are several fantastic female characters and leads in many many videogames. 

I don't think there's any kind of inequality. Girls can play the same games as guys, guys can play the same game as girls. Girls can go pro, if they don't suck at the game- same as guys. This inequality doesn't actually exist. If you think that guys hitting on girls in a lobby is inequality, you should try going outside.

 

There's a block button for a reason. I play lots of games, most of them online, and the last time I saw a guy freaking out cause a girl was on his team was in CS:GO like 4 months ago. It's not common anymore, people have "matured," nobody really cares anymore. Just about half of the people that play video games are girls, if it was so crazy we'd notice it.

 

There's no such thing as inequality when it comes to girls developing games or girls being a lead character in games. So what if there aren't tons of female developers? They don't try to develop, or they suck at developing, same as a crappy guy developer. They won't get hired just by their gender, that's sexism and it's illegal in that type of work space. Girl leads in video games? Well, it sure depends on the game doesn't it. Most open world RPG's let you be a woman, but that's just the start. I'm sure developers have a reason when they make a big buff guy the person that saves the world versus an alien onslaught, it's because guys can be stronger, tougher, faster, ect than women. It's accurate to real life. Why do you think there's not a million girl marines after we started letting 'em in? They don't try or they don't qualify.
