Heyyy, my new factory mag and 25 round mag came in for my 10/22!

 

I even got a cool sticker with it!  Also my NRA membership card finally came in.

I like having factory mags, it’s just a thing I do.  I have to have a factory mag.  My step dad gave me my 10/22 for Christmas many years ago but I never got the factory magazine, so I finally got around to ordering a clear factory BX-1 mag from Ruger.

Heh, I actually got an ak pistol and and an "arm brace".  Its a fat fireball meme without the 4 piece

Any advice for getting spray paint of an AR?  I got one from some kid on arms list but its coated in some rattle can paint.

To be safe: go to a gunsmith that does this

 

for diy: 

if it was crudely spraypainted, use sandpaper to scratch off the old paint. Leaving groves is good because it gives your paint something to hold onto. Then completely disassemble the gun. Use painting tape or masking tape to cover important areas like the internals. hang the pieces somewhere and lightly make back and fourth motions when spraying to get an even coat. Leave it to dry, see if it needs extra coats several days later. If so lightly spray again. You can cover the whole thing fine but don’t stay in 1 spot. Always move. Spray before the object, move to the object, move past the object, then stop spraying. 

 

Or just leave it the way it is and go to town. It’s probably fine if you close the dust cover.

sand paper.you can TRY simple green but that’s typically for model paints. It might work anyway. I’d do my first recommendation. Find someone that has a good portfolio, take it to them and say “can you get this nonsense off and make it look normal? Thanks. Oh hi doggy”

They were originally built to have a rate of 4000rd/min but since they're not recoil or gas driven, they can operate at virtually any rate that you can spin the drive motor and feeder motor at. I'm pretty sure I remember a military retrofit motor/feeder package that was supposed to run the guns to 6000rnds/min but I could be wrong on that.
