How old is your mousepad?

ManIkWeet

I have a looney tunes mousepad, copyrighted in 1996.

Yep, it's ~19 years old! Slightly dirty, image still clearly visible.

How old is yours?

Bought a cheap Steelseries mousepad in 2014.

But I had a "Exact Mat" mousepad from Razer before. Got it with my Diamondback.

about a year.

I had the XTrac Pads Ripper XXL, but I got tired of the little sweat stains from my wrists, so I cut it up into 3 smaller mousepads.

I have a Steelseries S&S pad that has been with me for years, easily more than 5 years, perhaps under 10.....I'd used it as my main pad when I'd first gotten it. Swapped to other mousepads along the way and started using it as my main mousepad about 2 years back. Mine looks like the one in the link below, but with the old logo.....

I've never understood the need for a mousepad, so this desk is about 9 years old.

Mouse sensors, both laser and optical, will misbehave when used on specific surfaces.  I think a hard pad is ideal for laser, soft for optical.

...But yeah, I'm using a wood finish as my mouse pad for my G500 :D (~Year old)

My dad bought it with his PC 13 years ago and I have been using it since.

It's a bit more yellow by now :P (Like how SNES consoles would become yellow over time)

SteelSeries SX - 5 years old, still looks and feels brand new. No wonder they discontinued them.

Mine is about 7 months now, it's Mionix Ensis 320, so I don't expect it to break any time soon.

Aluminium? You better clean that from time to time then...
