I like the photo. I wish that it was either closer or had the flower in the right fully in the photo. I'm viewing this on my phone so.... I think it could use a bit more contrast but that may be my screen. 7/10

I agree with all your points though I couldn't do anything about them sadly. I was as zoomed in and as close as I could get with my camera, I was actually very very slightly to close and the bee is not as sharp as I would like because of that. As for the colours sadly it was quite a dull day so there wasn't much light :(

not a real fan of B+W photo's(maybe due to lack of experience) and would make the background a bit more darker and the metal bit more bright but considering the tools you had, not bad.

wehad some dragonflies warming up/relaxing in the sun, this is one of the results.

9/10 Nice! macro shots are awesome. The only real criticism i have is that you could have closed down the apurture a bit more to keep more of it in focus.

Thanks for the awesome rating! Did consider opening the aperture a bit further, but tips of the wings where impossible to get in focus without looking weird.

9.5/10 I'm tempted to rate this 10/10, nearly perfect, altoiugh for me personally the colours on the left side bridge support/part feel kinda off, it feels unnatural.

Thanks for the great rating. The colours aren't natural, I desaturated it then gave it an orange and blue gradient map at a low opacity to reflect the blue colour of the bridge and orange of the bricked buildings. Though I think one of my IPS monitors are set up a bit wrong because after doing it and uploading it to here I noticed the left side of the image looked a bit pink which I think is what you are referring to.

Taken with T6i + 50 f/1.8 @ f/1.8 200 ISO

Only did some editing (in VSCO :P)

Also, sorry if its not full size, as silly as it sounds, I dont have an SD card reader so this is coming from a third source, not straight from my camera :/

Download eos utility and plug in your camera through micro USB directly then download the images through eos utility.

P.S.

^ 7 / 10

The image is sharp and detailed focused, but the angle of the wheel seems like its going for an artsy composition, when this is shot more for a stock photo appeal. I would personally straighten the wheel, and shoot slightly wider with the emblem positioned directly on the edge of the 2nd line in a thirds composition. It would make the lines more drawing since most know the position placement inside of a vehicle.

10/10 for the actual clarity of the image

7/10 for the composition - lowest number gives overall score IMO. It's a technically nice image, just would alter these things to make it compositionally nice as well.

I love the idea, the kid looks so innocent I think it's great composition, but the arm on the left keeps distracting me, as in what is his arm holding/doing, part of me thinks it's a bag or a bike or something. Also I think your focus is off, the shirt seems to be in more focus than the actual face of the kid.

Yeah, I think that's because of the 55-250 is ii lens I used has a further minimum focus distance, which is a shame.

7/10 Pretty cool, interesting subject, but i think it would be cooler either closer or at a bit of a higher angle.

I like the expression and anger, noise is fairly distracting though. Should run it through a NR program like topaz denoise. Selectively use it though.

A 7 shot image. This Emerald Glass Frog, was photographed on a glass filter mounted on a vice in the jungle of Panama in the small mountain region of El Valle. This image was shot with light attacking different angles of the frog in order to display different areas of "see through". In photoshop I then performed a focus stacking blending / masking technique to combine the images and balance the light. Fun shoot all in all. Canon 5D Mk II, 100mm F2.8 USM

6/10. cool subject, but i feel the composition is just wrong for this kind of scene. I feel this would have been far better as a level pic vs tilted like it is.

My first try doing some product photos.

6.5/10 Look at using a better light diffusing system to spread the light evenly across your product. With the texture of the bottle, you are getting some harsh feedback from the lighting source on the bottom half of the product which becomes distracting. As does all the light reflecting onto your background and foreground. Use multiple sources of light if you are not, and this will help remove the extra glaring that you do not want. For this style of shooting I'd personally use two flashes on the product attacking from 45 degree angles. One stage left, one stage right. I would have the flashes mounted directly level with the product, and shoot with softboxes attached to the strobes. A smaller light burst would fill the background and foreground from either above or bellow the product.

I think the foreground is a little dark, 6/10

Messing around with the camera at a camp fire.

cool-fire.jpg

7/10 The movement of the fire looks a little odd, and would have preferred a higher shutter speed to capture the fire as sharper, though it makes a nice movement effect. Otherwise looks good.

Took this on my way to bus stop today at 7:20 AM. Just saw some snails on the sidewalk on a foggy morning, and while I was in a hurry, just took a picture quickly without thinking much of it:

post-23506-0-40185800-1443088792.jpg

Shot with Sony DSC RX100 (Mark 1). Focal length: 29,1mm (78mm full frame equivalent), aperture: f/4.5, shutter speed 1/80 sec, ISO: 500.

The only way the image has been edited, is by reducing the resolution from 5472 x 3648 (20.8MP) to 900 x 600.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.
