8/10 Nice composition, Ideally i would have liked to see a bit more in the background, but i understand that that may not have been possible because of the weather.

here is a nice orange lamborghini huracan

7/10 I'm no critic, but jeez that's a sexy car!

6/10 The same composition on a dry sunny day would make a more beautiful picture. It's much better than my pictures when I first started xD

Was at a convention again and took a lot of pictures :)

Feedback

Lovely view, but the picture is really really blue (because well duh), maybe try warming up the white balance a bit and creating more contrast. The sky and the buildings are somewhat blurring over into one another. Also the sky is a bit grainy, because of the high ISO value. Probably could have changed some values around to get the same exposure but a lower ISO value. **

Verdict: 7,5 / 10

** Disclaimer: I just started out myself, I am in no way, shape or form able to give really really good critisism as to how you should have made the photo or how you could have changed things. I merely state what it looks like to me.

Waterpumping station museum Termuntenzijl by Bryan Dijksterhuis, on Flickr

Explanation

This is an old water pumping station that pumps water from the Eems (a sea ending in the north east of the Netherlands) into a small river. It is situated in the small village of Termuntenzijl, the Netherlands. The pumpingstation is currently open to visitors, free of charge.

Info

Shot with a Nikon D5200 with a 18-55 VR II Kitlens. For detailed EXIF info, click the link below the image

Why I chose this image

I chose this image because it has very little in the way of editing done to it. I only straightend out the photo, and cropped a little out from the left. The colours that I got with this photo looked really good to me right off of the camera

I like the picture, but I feel like the cloud cover makes it very dull. Otherwise, it's great. Verdict: 8/10.

First off sorry if it's not the feed back you are looking for new to photo taking etc. Really like the shoot and how it was taken from ground level. 9/10

This is a shoot I took when I was in Canada. Not much else to say.

Interesting subject, nice natural background, though that steelbar is kind of breaking the immersion.
Also, I think it'd be more interesting if the subject was photographed from another angle and maybe cropped so you can see more details of the subject.

Verdict: 6.5/10

I took this my picture below just to rate yours lol

Anyways, I like the reflections in the windows, the angle is not to extreme or... Subtle? I guess. However, I would kinda like to see a color version, maybe with some HDR-like effects done in PS or whatever if it's dull. :P

Overall a solid 9.5 IMO. And here's my 45 second shoot. My photo was taken on a Galaxy SIII I535 (focus mode set to macro, 3264x2448 resolution with superfine quality, exposure set to zero: no work was done in PhotoShop, since I have no clue how to use it to its full ability yet). Admittedly, I'm not very happy with the picture due to the dust on the card. I personally feel like that will knock off a point.

I like the idea, but wish it was centered and that it wasn't as washed out as it looks. Here's mine, I got a couple of these last night with my Canon T3i, that I just recently got.

Rebel T3i (600D)

Kit 18-55mm lens at 18mm, and f 3.5 to allow for the most light to get into the sensor and ISO 1600 so that it isn't super grainy.

30 second exposure, and it caught a shooting star at least what I think is a shooting star, could be a plane, but angle looks like a shooting star.

EDIT:

It might be a meteor as this calendar says that there are 2 meteor showers that overlap, so I don't know...

I'm 100% sure its a plane, you can see red and white dots all along that light trail from the flashing red and white lights on the wings / tail of the plane :)

I do see that part, but look at the trajectory of it. It's very odd, I see a lot of planes in my backyard, yes, but have never seen one with this type of trajectory, only from left to right with a slight angle at the very most.

You may have seen an satelite or the ISS. You can see some satellites and the ISS with the naked eye. The relative velocity isn't too fast, so an camera might be able to pick it up. But the intensity of light does not match that of the photo.

As an avid stargazer and ameature astronomer, I can assure you what you pictured isn't an meteor. Meteors vaporize in the atmosphere which cause them to have white tails. They also have a fast relative velocity (11 to 70 KM/SEC) such that they'll cross an relative viewing area (naked eye) in less than 1/2 of a second .

I doubt your camera picked this up. People lituarely miss seeing a meteor if they blink, that's how fast they go by, so I agree with @mopman94 that this was a plane. The evidence favors that more than a meteor.  If you look, you'll also see not one but two streaks (tails) caused from the aircraft's lights.

I see nothing wrong with the trajectory. Have you ever seen a shooting star or meteorite with red and white lights that flash at exact intervals. It's a plane.
