Can I fold with multiple GPUs even if they're different models? Aside from my main rig (RVII), I have a 1660 Ti, 1050 Ti, 1050, and 660 lying around, and a mobo (EVGA Classified X58 4-Way SLI) with enough PCIe slots to run them all, I could slap something together tonight to get all the folding powah possible.

Thankfully mine are all Nvidia so it looks like it's time to put my X58 bench back together and slap all those GPUs and an SSD on it.  

Lord knows I have enough PSU power and connectors for them, I can always just use my 1600W T2 if I need all the connectors ever in the history of power supplies

I was up to participate in the Pentathlon and I'm down to participate next year but I'm really short in the GPU dept and the heat is problematic as it's the dead of summer. I don't think I can participate here.

Ben?...Not ringing a bell. Anyways yeah heat right now is the biggest problem for me. The room I keep my servers in is currently at 82°F and that's when they're not under load. If this event was going on mid-winter I'd be more incline to participate.

 

Let me know when there's another BOINC event going on. I'll see what I can do to participate.

I haven't been paying attention to anything folding related. I generally don't participate (as my lack of folding badges indicates).

 

I'm still waiting on Whiskers to give me a hook-up for a BOINC badge but he seems to be MIA (has been since the Pentathlon).

Yos! Gotta figure out why it's quoting a low PPD though, the estimate is 54,347 but I'm running an i7 5820K (giving F@H 8 threads or 11 threads doesn't make much difference, am running it with 8 rn) and Radeon VII.

The estimates are broken. I'm estimated to get 250K PPD from my main rig and 80K PPD from JANK, but I'm getting around 1.4M PPD actual points. XOC has the correct information.

Also make sure you have your passkey sorted out. You need to submit 10 work units before you will start to be awarded bonus credit

Yep, signed in with my passkey and am folding rn, building a second rig as well:

As far as I know the requirements need to be met after the event starts.

My folding rig is a 5960x on an ROG crosshair IV extreme, with a 1080 Fe, 980 Fe X2. All in a tiny OEM case that has had all the drive cages cut out to fit the eatx motherboard, it also have 2 120mm holes cut into the front plastic for intakes.
