Youtube's been pushing for people to use clickbait recently because more views means more money. Its bullshit and I hate it. Look at the lets play channels, how many don't use CAPS LOCK IN THE TITLES? VERY FEW

1) Graphics over gameplay mechanics.
2) Be overly concerned with how other individuals play and enjoy gaming.  If at all possible, spend more time telling other people how they should be gaming than actually playing games themselves.
3) Tell others to buy the most expensive PC components even if they themselves can't afford it.
4) Their frame rate is more important than their score.
5) 'Get Good' doesn't mean 'Practice and hone your skills', it means 'The micro switches in your keyboard aren't expensive enough'.

So, within days of the Investigatory Powers Act being introduced, the public was not happy about it.
The UK has a feature similar to the US, where if an official petition reaches a certain target, it will have to be given a formal response.
 
Well, such a petition was formed and has gathered over 144,000 signatures - and is still growing.
Way more that what is needed for an official response - Which was given today.
 
Essentially, the Government is sticking to their guns, as it were - and are claiming that this law is needed for security issues and does not violate privacy and adheres to the UK's commitment that this act does not violate human rights - even though this Act is so draconian that it is even being compared to that of China and Russia.
 
Personally, I am against this act. I want my privacy and i don't want the government searching me because I look at weapons online for research
(I play AirSoft, so some of the search terms I use - could possibly get attention, which I don't want) - and that's just one example.
 
The fact the Public didn't really get a say on the matter for this is stupid. While it has changed since its draft bill that was produced last year - I don't want the government to have access to everything I do.
 
And before anyone uses the statement - "Got nothing to hide, got nothing to panic about", you are part of the problem. 
Privacy is essential to everyone's life, and is a right, not a privilege that other people can interfere with.

Blue only runs at 5800 RPM, and I have a broken WD Scorpio Blue laptop hard drive (from improper shutting down, since some Linux distros take a long time to shut down). If I want to game on it, I need a bit more reliability and speed than what's offered on standard hard drives.
 
Still, they're cheaper per gigabyte than the external hard drives that my uni offers. I got a 4 TB HDD from eBay for £110, they sell 2 TB hard drives at uni for £99. Granted, I've got a Seagate brand, and they're notorious for their unreliability for anything outside average consumer use.

This isn't really my area of expertise, but I think that looks like a solid plan. If you plan to use it for heavily multi-threaded applications then this should work very nicely!
 
Do you need a black WD drive though? Why not blue? It's cheaper.

I've had 3 Seagate drives fail. That said, the Seagate drive in my LaCie external has survived several years, 3 moves to different provinces where it was jostled around quite a bit. It'll be replaced with another LaCie 5tb external next year.
I wouldn't worry about it, but generally people research the product before purchase, not after. Might want to try that next time

Segate is fine and about the same as any other drive brand. People get mad and think its a bad brand, rather than realizing that all hdd's will fail.

Pretty much, but straight guys don't get into these things just because they don't see the need to. For instance, they look awfully modest in general because their potential gfs or something won't mind, IDK.
