This is Nintendo's cash cow and any company will protect it. Piracy will eventually happen (even if the bulk of people are against it). Hacks will happen and technically Nintendo is doing best by their customers. By providing a hacker less area for people who play by their rules. I have nothing against this.

When you buy any console or piece of hardware you are only buying/own the hardware. The software used is often released as a license to use that software within the specified terms and conditions. The article was updated. Turns out the RRP is much lower (still more than other options) but the retailers have marked it up for whatever reason.

Don't see any issues personally. If anything this is beneficial to everyone that uses the services.
 
For example lets say you have a 10GB month plan. Ordinarily all the data that you use on an ISP would count towards that cap. All these companies are doing is simply making their own services not use any data in that cap, which is reasonable since you are paying for the service anyway. It doesn't take away anything from the competition it actually gives the customer MORE data that they can use to download, watch videos, stream Netflix etc. 

I saw this just now and thought it was pretty hilarious. On the site the word 'cruel' video is used a few times but I actually think its a work of genius and shines a spotlight on some peoples intelligence

No sure if this has been mentioned in the comments yet but from what I see the PS4K does not seem to be a more powerful PS4, at least not in the sense most people would think.
 
I believe it will have a little more horsepower but this would not be used in games, instead it could be used for the upscaling of Blu-Ray and other digital content to 4K from 1080p. Sony already have Blu-Ray players on the market such as the Sony BDP-S7200 4K Upscale Blu-Ray Disc Player so I believe that is what it will be.
 
If not that then perhaps Sony are going to use the the PS4K to push 4K Blu-Ray adoption by having an actual 4K Blu-Ray drive. They used the PS3 to push Blu-Ray so I guess its logical to do the same again.

This looks soooo cool. One of the reasons I haven't ordered a VR headset yet was because it seems to be limited to supported games only. I wanted to watch 3D videos and see 360 videos/photos. If this app can do all that natively then I'm all in when VR is more affordable in UK and are stocked by other merchants. The VAT/Shipping on both the Rift/Vive are ridiculous right now.

The 360 port looks incredibly lazy. I wasn't expecting anything amazing graphics wise other than lower res textures and less object, but wow that is pretty awful looking.  Aside from the gun/hand everything else looks like a PS2 game.

Could just a patent on the idea of scrolling wheels. There are too few buttons for it to replace a Wii U or 3DS set up. What is could be is some sort of mobile phone of mobile controller add-on?
 
I guess the mobile things makes some sense, especially if they want to support physical controls on their mobile titles.

This actually backs up the theory that the NX is a possible Android based system. Remember its been called a new Platform and NOT a successor to Wii U or 3DS. People seem to think it is but the more I think about it seems the NX will be a platform to play Nintendo mobile titles without  a mobile device like the Shield Console basically.
 
 
Edit: I think anyone hoping for NX to be a full fledged console will be very disappointed. Look at how its being talked about, the words used, as mention they are calling it a new platform. People for some reason are thinking of it as the Wii U successor but that has not been proven. All the rumour point to a new platform that will be discussed and maybe released in 2016.

Why would one ever buy something based on "Nostalgia" ? I found this a very stupid argument 5 years ago and still find it to be a stupid one today.
You don't buy Zelda Skyward Sword because you have fond memories of A Link to the past, you buy it because it is a great game on its own.
There is a reason why Nintendo is respected in the industry, it is because they consistently put out games that are of very high quality, and they have been doing it for over 30 years. Name me one other company that have released so SO many titles that score over 90%.
If you buy on nostalgia, then Sonic would still sell like hotcakes. (It doesn't, it is utter garbage.)

I am really sorry for the dumb people that will blindly go and buy it just because it's Apple. This is a smartphone on your wrist, not a watch. Battery life is poor and so is the general usability. How shallow do you have to be to buy and show it off saying it's the best and nothings compares to it. Fuck Apple, fuck the Apple Smartwatch. This really gets my blood to a boiling point- the utter stupidity of mankind.
