I’ve had Chrome dark theme for a while on my MacBook. It is actually confusing because it makes it harder to tell when you’re in incógnito mode.

They need to remake the G9x, that mouse commands a hefty premium on ebay because they killed it off too early.  They also fucked up not making more shells available for it besides the original narrow and wide, but probably remedied nowadays by 3d printing.  The G500 on the other hand doesn't command a premium (I've smashed several of them and bought replacements).

New 1070s start at $299, new 1070 Tis start at $419, according to PCPP atow, so at a more realistic price of $400 for the 2060 yeah it's a pretty good value actually

I agre, that is about the level of performance I am happy to pay for.
It's easy to be right when they hedge their bets.  We had a thread on this a while back and someone linked to all their articles on one topic, they essential had an article for each possibility claiming it to be an inside source or  similar.

I do not need AMD to compete at the high end enthusiast level. But if you can get in the realm of 2080 for much less that is all the majority really need.  
 
But speaking of source material. People love to toss salt at a WCCF link. But how many times have they been right in recent times.

What Linus did is absolutely in line with his mentality and past actions, he did it before for the Star Wars Titan card I believe. Had them in the background of another video. He's a massive troll and loves a good stir, but smart enough to know when it's safe to do so.

Actually wait yeah, you're right. I had to go and look at photos of the RTX 2080ti and they use the same cover. I thought it was just a solid piece. Damn, that's a sleek cover, way better than the orange plastic ones I got for SLI covers on my 1080 Ti

Tech Jesus said there was "room" for a Titan on the 2080ti before even the cards where for sale.
 
I get releasing in a year a Titan with some engineering done, but releasing it... what 2 months after the 2080ti, is just calling everybody that bought the 2080ti stupid. Getting 11% more performance in 2 months means they could have just released the damn thing by the 2080ti launch.
 
I get Nvidia had to do something, stocks are free falling and rtx is a shit show, but this will only hurt their image even further. Then again why should anyone buy this overpriced card when rtx is still not a thing. Pilling up on the craziness?
 
this looks like those i9 x299 desperate moves form Intel in response to ryzen, but without the competition, and that makes this ridiculous.

No it's not, if you read the interview they talk about crypto a bunch too, just stop. The steam hardware survey is not an indicator if a card is the 24th most sold gpu in the world when we're talking about a card like the 580 and you know it. It's disengenious to even seperate the 580 from the 480. Which 1060 was jensen talking about 3gb or 6gb? There's ambiguity here but no that much that he can make that claim.

Ford did not get a bailout. Ford took a loan like many others did to build build more fuel efficient vehicles in plants that built trucks. This is vastly different to what GM and Chrysler did with their true bailout. The interest was super low at a time when you could not get loans thanks in part to wallstreet. It was not a bailout it was a loan.. Ford had already did it's restructure prior to GM and Chrylser's issues and was smart to have done it. Ford has a couple years left on the terms of the DOE loan to pay it off. No worries, I can state this as a fact as I am a Ford employee and that era had a-lot to do with my family's well being. 
 
 
I will agree with you about GM, While they are truly a new company (I am sure you know the GM you see is today is not really the GM of pre-bailout) they sure are using the old way of thinking.

EDIT: They still haven't figured out how to make their moduvent system dust proof.

Pentium, Celerons etc come with the standard aluminum heatsink with no copper case. Also the aluminum piece just has cut outs, I wouldn't call them fins.
 
The current AMD stock cooler that has been used since the Phenom II days performs significantly better than Intel's stock cooler with copper bases. The main thing wrong with it is the fan is too small and runs at too high of a RPM so it's very noisy especially at high RPM.
 
I also wondered about the purpose of this seemingly over engineered heat sink but it's likely just an update/revision that is mostly addressing the noise issues while slightly tweaking the heatsink design.
 

Yeah it does seem like they made it push 100% fan speeds.
