This was a huge thing years ago when I was playing CoD2 on tournaments (it was THE thing back then). :) Mice have evolved a lot and sadly pads aren't considered as important.

I really liked this video as it's "different" since it's showing something I don't see too many people doing.

 

I currently use the "Glorious Extended Gaming Mouse Mat" (http://www.amazon.com/Glorious-Extended-White-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00NOCZB78/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1428393361&sr=8-4&keywords=glorious+pc+gaming+race but mine is black) since it was on sale. It replaced my Corsair Vengeance Extended MM200. The only thing I can complain about it so far is that part of it hangs off the usable surface of my desk as I have a very weirdly proportioned desk.

 

I play CS:GO a lot with it and am able to stop when I want, so that's really nice :)

Right now I use the Razer Goliathus Control Edition that came free with my mouse, but my favorite mousepad is my old Icemat 2nd Edition Black...

Was expecting to see at least see a couple of Artisan mousepads when you briefly showed their website (1:33). 

 

Kinda disappointed  :(. Hugely underrated mousepads if you ask me.
