My college originally left an open keg on the second floor.  That ended when a student piled his motorcycle into the back of a parked truck at 3am.  Long ago and far away.

I had one close call in high school and have been very careful since. Luckily my close call was only going to involve me and no one else. Learned my lesson.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Alcohol can mess with my meds so my limit is 1 beer in an evening.  2 if I’m not driving.  I weigh a lot though so I figure I can get away with it.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

That’s how I feel about water. Water is proven to kill. Everyone who has ever drank water has died.

Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

I drink Diet Coke as a norm for a few reasons but there is something about it that's kinda neat.
Mix it with rum and it has a vanilla scent to it.

Guinness is Ireland, though it’s drunk and made at lot of places and they have a lot of breweries. Guinness in the US comes from Canada.

Production is actually sometimes outsourced. In Germany for example Guinness (and Kilkenny ) is actually made by Radeberger.

It’s supposed to be darker and thicker the closer you get to the original brewery somewhere in Ireland.

Well I actually visited Ireland once and what I can say is that Guinness is different there because they also inject Nitrogen into the beer in addition to Co2. It's very creamy.

In both England and Ireland we use whats known as a 'Cream Flow' nozzle on the pumps too.  that make the bubbles extra tiny

Did your restaurant or pub buy both CO2 and nitrogen?

Curious if it matches the Guinness thing @Drama Lamasaid

Outsourcing sounds reasonable.  I think that’s done everywhere.  The Canadian stuff that’s sold in the US has a little ball in it that ruptures when the can or bottle is opened that injects the gas.  Guinness on tap has to have special taps and a pump system for that.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I looked it up and it seems that Guinness uses a mix of nitrogen and CO2.

There's even a device by Guinness for use with cans.

The nitro surge thing is a new one for me.  The one I’m familiar with is a little spherical gas container with a weak spot in it designed to break when the can or bottle is opened.  There was also this torpedo shaped thing with wings designed to be put in bottles, but was effectively the same thing.  Probably doesn’t control gas release as well.
