France tried it. Personally I think metric everything would make the most sense, but it failed from people using 24 hour time. 

 

I hate AM & PM a lot. I know 7, 8 & 9 are the only real times you can confuse & even then not really, I just hate the ambiguity. 24 hour time is great but 10 hour time makes the most sense in terms of division. Whilst we’re at it, get rid of julius Cesar from the calendar.

In Europe we tend to use what you guys call military time. 9PM would be 21:00. Everyone still understands 9PM but its more common here to use the 24 hour measurements over anno meridian and post meridian.

Yeah, but I think some people use both. Idk. In Europe. 

Sometimes I give people 24 hour time and it takes them a second or they can’t figure out what I mean. 

 

Like if I say 18:00, some people know it’s 6, others think it’s 8 o clock or 4 o clock. They’re not sure.
