Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

A canadian bumblefuck called AvE has a YouTube channel where he uses "angry pixies" as a way of explaining electricity.

AFAIK the paint is still fine, everything still washes off pretty well. Applied a couple coats of wax in November and we're in full on slush-mode winter ATM so gonna see if it still beads at the next wash. The white car is now half turd-brown lol.

FYI Collinite 845 likes to be applied in fairly warm temperatures, at least 8C (46F) for it to bond to the paint properly and not in direct sunlight, or excessive moisture within 12 hours after application. This timelapse was taken a few weeks after I applied mine, and you get a fairly good idea of the beading at speed.

On a side note, I pulled a few massive full-oppo skids with the diffs locked this morning after a fresh snowfall. Man, thats so much fun. Although the diff lock disengages above 50kph, you can hardly tell you're sliding 2 tonnes.

And here is a video of it running , and idling . Had to fiddle around with the clutch , change the oil or more like filter the old one since i had none around  , and prior to this i took the whole carburetor apart and rebuilt it . Also the gearbox wouldnt go into reverse so had to fix that aswell .

And since it sat for longer than 10 years ( tho has been fired up previous ) it wouldnt move since all the drum brakes were siezed . So off with the wheels and everything , WD40 all over the place , put it back together and then forward and reverse till the rear axle un-siezed .

Sorry for the crappy / shaky footage .

Went out to dinner with the family, a hoard (5 or 6 deep) of Subarus and S13s were drifting on the icy streets. I want one so badly. Literally 2 of my favorite cars, they sounded so nice and the drivers were skilled. Someday

man, it seems like you can't win at life in california, both north and south. the bay area has crazy high costs of living that people can no longer afford because of the extraneously high prices, so they move to the valley in droves, and though the extra people helps the local economy, the traffic here is progressively worse than it has been in the past few months. and in the process, people moving to the valley are clogging our freeways and making commutes for people who live in the valley to the bay, like my dad, absolute hell there and back. and not to mention the strict as hell emissions standards and whatnot. but hey, when you have 30 million people living in a single state, you're bound to come across issues like that.

Either the oil level monitor on the dashboard is wrong or manual that says my dad's Audi takes 6.2 liters of oil is wrong.

It's More like 6.8 liters lol.
