Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

so if i came to canada to study for college will i not be able to afford living in canada for the time i spend studying in canada?

Well for one, every US dollar you have is 30% more in CAD so you could actually end up paying less than a Canadian does, but again it depends on which University you attend and what program specifically. Living also varies depending on what your needs are, and the proximity you wish to have to luxury items. Buying an apartment and renting one are two completely different beasts.

The average university program will run you $40-60,000 for a four year degree before you go into specialized programs, and not counting bursaries/grants/scholarships.

im about to buy an r33 gtr, register it in canada, and just drive it in the us, and then just make the drive to canada every year to register it.

that autozam is cute, yet it does pack a punch.

i mean i can just stuff a turbo boxer 4 from a newer wrx/sti into a first gen impreza wagon body and call it done.

yes, but accidents are FAR more common in the bay area because people drive like absolute butthurt idiots.

Hah lol, you should try it from the perspective of a bike, it's way worse.

8-16K a year depending on program, and dependent on University. I don't know about US citizens but each institution should have their own policies for US/International students. In general, you end up paying a higher gross total for tuition than a domestic student. (but taking currency conversion into account, its basically the same number)

While america are getting jdm cars, Norway has gotten a permaban for all JDM vehicles, the reason behind this is that the driver is sitting on the oposite side of the car as well as "they are fast and dangerous"

EXCUSE ME? If i want a 600cc kei car van thing, you are telling me that "its fast and dangerous" so i cant have it?

well if you swap a 600cc motorbike engine into it, it can be fast and dangerous. either that, or a small ass rotary engine.

really? seattle traffic is that bad? i always thought the bay area in california had worse traffic than la, but seattle?

wait, 3 liters or 1.2 liters? the 3L is throwing me off.

Seattle has lots of smaller cities around it. In order to go to any of those smaller cities, you have to go through Seattle.

LA traffic moves unless its a bad day. In Seattle, I'd say your average speed will be 30 MPH on a good day. If somebody has to pull over to the side of the road, gg grid lock. Its not just in the Seattle area either. For me, getting from Olympia to Tacoma is almost worse than Seattle traffic thanks to the military base.

idk. i'd buy one, boost the power of the stock motor, until it blows, then i'll swap in something more durable.

maybe i'll just keep it on my steam library until i can run it decently. and maybe if i can't get cities skylines, then i'll get planet coaster. i've been waiting like FOREVER for a rollercoaster tycoon 3 sequel, and i think this is it.

like? i just want the game because i've been waiting forever for a successor to rct3, and it just looks so fun, and plus, you're not restricted on what you want to build. it's not entirely a grid system like rct 1,2, and 3 you can have free flowing rides and paths and scenery and it's so cool it adds a degree of realism.
