Watch out for oil burning. Other than that good cars just don't get the spec model because you don't even get the panoramic roof. Clutch suuuuucks to replace.

they could be lying. a lot of people on craigslist lie about the transmission. i was looking up stickshift mercs (the latest one i saw was a 1984), and there was a super nice s55 for sale, and even though it says manual, in the picture, you can obviously see a fucking automatic gear shifter. what a fucking cockbag.

Jesus... as if I didn't have enough car troubles this year, my 67" Impala just tore one of my engine mounts clear off. Not to mention that one of my tires appears to have magically punctured itself.

 

Wasn't exactly looking forward to rebuilding the small block 327 in it this winter... but I guess there's also no wrong time to break out the engine crane and get to work...

What a long and strange trip its been

 

Jesus... as if I didn't have enough car troubles this year, my 67" Impala just tore one of my engine mounts clear off. Not to mention that one of my tires appears to have magically punctured itself.

 

Wasn't exactly looking forward to rebuilding the small block 327 in it this winter... but I guess there's also no wrong time to break out the engine crane and get to work... 

I would be jumping with joy if that happened to me (And i had a 67 impala)  :lol:
