First off, good ol' H.Sap is not an ape.

Second apes are not anthropomorphic because they have not been "morphed" into a human like shape.

 

Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Taz and the Animaniacs are examples of cartoon anthropomorphic characters. Anthropomorphic representations are not just limited to cartoons, it has been around almost as long as people have existed.

 

 

As for the Furries, well, they are a little bit weird but harmless. It is the people that like viewing pictures and videos of kittens that really creep me out.

i hang around with a lot of people who consider themselbes furries, but i honestly have better things to care about than which box of a boatload of fandoms or social groupings i fit in.

i've tried, but i'm honestly done defining myself as a furry, i'm done with anything to do with a defined religion, i'm done with vague political views like "left wing" "right wing" "center arseholes", etc. i just dont freaking care anymore as long as i can live my life without bumping heads on every step.
