970 vs 1060 3gb?

970 is around $160 bucks and 10603gb is around $180 on my country. BTW. I think our country isny affected by the crypto mining craze xD I can easily find rx480 at $230

The 480 is 4gb? Even still its better than both. (10603gb has less cuda cores than the 6gb version)

Well ignoring the RX 480, I'm inclined to say that even with the 512MB buffer (or basically 512MB that is unusable) on the GTX 970 that would be the all around better card.

 

However since the RX 480 is in your price range apparently, either model is going to be better than the 3GB 1060 and the 4GB* GTX 970.
