Whats the oldest hardware you use

GOTSpectrum

Hey guys,

Just wondering what old hardware you guys use. Going to break it down. Rules are, you have to use it on a regular basis and it needs to function properly.

Oldest system:

Oldest component:

Anything else old you want to add.

For me my oldest system is my Pentium 4 HT 391 from 2006. Use this for backup network storage and running a couple mining cards in I had laying around.

Oldest component would be my alienware area 51 first generation case from the late 1990s.

2003 Thinkpad T41. I haven't bothered to get a newer laptop as my spare money is going to my desktop first. I also have it running xp for support for a few old microcontroller programmers I use that don't have drivers for anything newer.

If we are counting non computer hardware. I still break out my 1979 6 switch atari 2600 VCS for a game of warlords every once in a while.

Oldest system: this is probably my HP gen7 microserver which I think came out sometime in 2010.

Oldest component: My Xbox 360 HD DVD drive from 2006 ish. This is 'used' in that I have it connected to my PC as an optical drive, but it rarely ever actually gets used.

Other than that would be my ViewSonic n1900w monitor - again rarely ever used but still works and was my first HDTV/Monitor, from 2005-6 ish.

Oldest thing I use on a normal basis is my Presario 2286 from the late 90's. Eventually I'll get my ProSignia 165 all loaded up with software again and use it a lot more, but even then it's from the late 90's as well.

Second place would be a Linksys 10/100 switch and a WRT54GS from the early 2000's which are on all the time.

I have 1 bit of vacuum tube storage from the 1940/50's, but don't use it, for obvious reasons...
