what are yalls biggest pet peeves? mine is when my lil brother has his headphones on and walks across the room either ripping his headphones out his pc or moving his whole pc (me and him have a mini pc the size of a steam link maybe a little bigger and thicker)

I have so many, probably the biggest though is family members coming into what ever room I'm in, turning on the lights and opening every single f*cking door, then leaving without turning any of the lights back off or closing the door.

 

If you walk into a room and someone has the lights off, turn them back off when you leave, how hard is that to understand, they were off for a reason.

1. People who walk entirely too slowly/mosey around while they are transfixed on their phone.

 

2. The kids at my school who decide that right in front of where people need to go is the absolute best place to hold a prolonged facebattle while whispering "I love you" to eachother. Like please, I don't think it is genuinely that difficult for you to keep it in your pants for another hour or so.

It's a speed limit, not a target. So long as they're not ten plus under, that's a stupid pet peeve.

Most are ten under.  And being ten under on a six lane is dangerous.

 

Actually, depending on State.  It is illegal in certain States.  Makes it interesting here with each State having slight difference on driving laws.

To sum it up --> Stupid people

People who can not park properly, people who back into a parallel parking stall when there is plenty of room to go nose in (yes it can be done without wrecking your rims, no need to even pop the curb), taxi drivers are the worst offenders and I fuck with them now,  tailgaters (Often times theres a pothole or something on the road that I need to brake abruptly:), drivers who dont give a fuck nor respect pedestrians or cyclists, pigs who speed to unrelated locations like donut shops, ego tripping power hungry pigs, a big one is stopping on a through lane merge, people who dont speed up nor slow down to obtain a merge, old people/immigrants/women driving slow, people who take up the aisle (I got a good one for those, I push their shit out of the way, kicked a womans basket once she was mad and complained to a worker like he cared), authority picking on bums/native peoples, kids who use their cell phone speaker, cell phone users in movie theaters, seat kickers in movie theatres, Subway workers who put minimal amounts of toppings on, Service Industry workers who interact with custromers who dont speak half decent english (Walmart is bad for that, over the PA system, dunno why they get a fluent speaker to do them annoucements), Walmart and their "Shit in the Aisle" syndrome, Crap-O-Rama shit that doesnt last long (can openers for example), people who are on their phone while at the gym.

Actually a safe driving speed is for the conditions at the time. So doing 40 under in fog is not illegal.

....and I would say 10 under is not the criteria at all for the threshold of unsafe slow speeds.

Remember that it is called the SPEED LIMIT, you could easily do 5 under the limit in the fast lane and be perfectly legal, unless you are in a zone of "Stay in the right hand lane, unless passing" usually up steep hills/mountains here in Canada.

Weather conditions are the exception.  But, in clear day with no rain.  Sorry, going slow when everyone else is doing the 50 speed limit is asking to get hit (which usually happens).

 

Funny thing about that left lane in this State.

Here, by law, slow drivers must stay in right lane.  I seen individuals ticketed for slow driving and doing so in left lane.  Alabama is one of the States were left lanes are pass lane/fast lane.

 

Even when I was in California I saw people ticketed for being slow (were that is very, very bad idea in that State to drive slow).
