Corsair AF Series LED Fans - where to buy

Corsair's LED fans. Are they the best fans on the market? No. Are they among the best LED fans on the market? I would argue yes. While there are notable exceptions like Bitfenix's excellent Specter series, LED fans in general have always been the red-headed stepchild in a line-up of otherwise respectable fan designs. They get generic blade designs and are usually only available at like 1800-2000RPM and up because only "gamers" want LED fans right? All gamers wear headphones and don't care about silence, right? WRONG!

Anyway, basically Corsair took an already quite good fan design and tacked LEDs onto it. I just wish they'd do the same with the SP series... Here's the video:

Is there any kind of implementation with the Corsair Link Lighting Node?

The ability to disable the LED's within the software would have me sold.

They need a fan to match a gold build! I don't know it orange or yellow would do it, but that would be cool to see in a build.

My next build will most likely have these in it.

Done well LED lighting in a case looks awesome and adds to the over-all style of the case and build. LED fans tend to be really hit and miss though, depending on the LEDs they use. These fans look like they could  add some nice lighting. They don't look to be over bearing or insanely flashy. I think the red fans could look great with my red and black themed build, or maybe the white ones to give more focus in my red tubing and the red accents on my motherboard.

These compared to my current Bitfenix Spectre LEDs (non pro)? Worth the upgrade? Going to need a few! :P

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=64830&vpn=BFF-BLF-12025B-RP&manufacture=BitFenix&promoid=1360

Specs in description differ from those in title. I love the deep blue of the Bitfenix ones, do these look similar (video doesn't justify)?

Bitfenix's excellent Specter series

Those the fans where Bitfenix flat-out lied about the bearings and noise?

I'm not sure but I guess you are confusing Spectre with Spectro Pro. Even if Pro series is the latest, a lot of people says that Spectre were better (and saw some benchmarks that confirms it).

Slick has Spectre Pros in his current build.

I would like to see a Linus answer regard this (and a video of LED fan comparison with benchmarks would be awesome :D).

EDIT: Here is a comparison of Spectre vs Spectre Pro

Orange and green need to be added.
