Got a 1070 what should i be playing?

Finally upgraded my card and got a EVGA 1070 FTW edition switched from a  AMD radeon HD 7700 so a big upgrade. Haven't bought a pc game in 2 years since my old graphics card wasn't exactly the best. So what games should I try to finally get a feel of the master race. CPU is an i5-3570k and 16gb of ram

Whatever looks good to you.  GTA V, BF1, Arma 3, Elite: Dangerous, Rocket League,  Rainbow 6 Siege, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 4, Skyrim Special Edtion, BeamNG.drive, DayZ, Dishonored 1 and 2,  Watch Dogs 1 and 2, Civ IV,  or drop another $800+ and try some VR games.

Some more:  Steep, Total War: Attila or Warhammer (I prefer Attila), Subnautica, Space Engineers, Rust, PLANET COASTER, No Man's Sky (I enjoyed it for a while but it does get boring), Just Cause 3, Dying Light, DiRT: Rally, Forza Horizon 3 (Microsoft Store but still good), ARK: Survival Evolved, Shadow Warrior 2, The Division, Kerbal Space Program, Borderlands, Hearts of Iron IV, Clustertruck, The Forest, Homefront: The Revolution, L.A. Best part about not buying and playing any games in the last 2 years is that most games you would have played during those 2 years would usually be on sale for 15 bucks or less during the upcoming winter Steam sale.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag looks gorgeous, and will push your 1070 to its limits.

 

I recommend overclocking both the core and memory of your 1070.

WITCHER 3.

 

Gorgeous game, you can run Max settings, amazing story, lots and lots of hours of pure joy.

 

If i could relive any game for the First time, it would be this (with dlcs, dont forget the dlcs).

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.

I say it as well. Witcher 3 will blow your mind.

The new TombRaider is cool too and looks outstanding.
